Falcons on up by 6 goals towards end of 2nd quarter.

#25 for flaggies in the b grade threw a sneaky one from the side, nice little cheap shot champ

I wouldn't comment on players taking cheap shots during the Marion v Flagstaff B Grade if I were you. Even the umps gave up trying to stop the scraps that kept breaking out through the Marion players frustration at the scoreboard flogging.

Hope the Marion supporter remembered to pick up the chocolate bar he threw at the Flagstaff B Grade team leaving the oval

Roo's 17.11 vs Cove 10.12. Great effort from the boys today, Billy would be very proud.

I thought the A grade match was played in great spirit.
I wouldnt comment when your A Grade coach is yelling abuse at Marion players at throw in's because Flagstaff Hill couldnt play uncontested football all day. Is this a usual behaviour when things arent going Falcons way? Would want to find more players who get their own footy when you come up against harder opposition.

The big rumor of the day coming from Cove is that MVP were over their allocated points today.

Also heard that Backwell dished out a cheap shot against a Cove player that was seen by everyone except the umpire. I hear that Cove are very upset and will lodge a report with evidence from many witnesses.

If MVP have breached the points system, then most would expect the SFL to impose the same penalty the SAAAFLF imposed, ie take the full seasons points away.

This will be a real test of the SFL.

Great win by the Roos, Billy would have been pleased. To the Cove people We sang the song on the oval with the supporters For Billy. We didn't want to seem cocky so sorry if we affended anyone.
Sorry but definatly no breach in points. Trev 4, Backwell 4, Talbot 3, Maynard 3, Schneider 2, Benny Mac 2, Rads 1, and E White -1 =18 points.
About the Cheap shots I wouldn't be saying to much when you had 3 of your players jumping on him on the ground. I hope the bloke who broke his nose on his team mates head is ok. Definatly got more than he gave out and I can't recall any incidents that would warrant a report. Would be an absolute Joke if Cove lodged something.

Heard that Reynella didn't have bench by the end of the first 1/4. Still a big win by the Valley.

Yep, 18 is a lot of points, and a lot of points = a lot of $$$ these days (a lot more $$ than most clubs in SFL have to throw around anyway)... but if that's what they are allocated, they've played the game, they got it approved, they have to fund it - it's been flogged to death on here.

Great win to Brighton with their backs against the wall. They looked like they wanted it more Saturday. Porties started off well but the bombers controlled the rest of the game. Very happy with the win. I was sitting on the outer and couldn't see, can anyone tell me why norsworthy got red carded?

I left at half time and he hadn't been sent off before then. I know he apparently has 25 possies at half time maybe the ump got sick of seeing him he get kicks??

He was playing an absolute belter... But I think he threw an elbow into one of the porties players stomachs at a kick in

Isn't a red card instant suspension?

Unfortunately true. Valleys were way too good for the young Winies. Throw the other Eagleton in that team and theirs ya flag favourite.
Awesome delivery to Squires, who grabbed everything and kicked straight. Won the stoppages too easily.
Prescott was great for Reynella. Hate to think what would be without him in the side.

Trev 4 + Backwell 4 + Talbot 3 + Maynard 3 + Schneider 2 + Benny Mac 2 + Rads 1 + E White 1 = 20 Points
So If you were only allowed 18 pts .....my calculations are you are over your allocation
