On the relegation side of things, should Ingle Farm find themselves in the bottom 2 as looks likely, and one side below chooses to stay put, would Houghton be given the chance to stay over the farmers given that Ingle Farm has dodged the relegation bullet for a couple successive seasons now?
As hard as it is to say, and as much as I don't want it, I think Ingle Farm don't deserve to stay in div 6. May have been competitive and improved this year but doesn't change the fact they have only manager two wins, there comes a time when you have to draw a line and quit accepting inconsistent and complacent performances.
a fair point, and if you keep the majority of the current side i cant see any reason why you wouldnt come straight back up. i know the top sides in div 7 have improved but this has to be one of the highest quality years in div 6 in quite some time. I think in any other year IF would have been fighting for finals.
Also on the Houghton point as i understand it if TTG made the GF in div 7 and then decided to stay down i believe Houghton would have first option to stay up seeing that IF have finished bottom two for the last 2/3 (unsure) years.
