I am hearing Anichebe and Yobo to be sold to raise the funds to get Pienaar back and possibly another signing.

Also hear Hugo Rodallega is out of contract at the end of this season, could see him move on if Wigan want to cash in on him

Correction, he is out of contract now...

Theo Walcott to follow RVP out the door.
Verry unhappy at the club and is in the same situation as RVP, becomes a free transfer at end of season.
Will Arsenal cash in on him now?

Would think he is only going to sort out whether he sees out his contract or is granted an early release.

Bringing Borini in doesn't augur well for Carroll, in terms if fitting Rodgers' style .. There's been plenty of talk of Carroll being loaned out to Milan, if he has to go I reckon that would be the best option

Believe Carroll wants to stay in the EPL, Fulham would be a good fit for him, their style would suit him

How good is Dempsey? I don't for a minute think Carroll is worth anywhere near the 35mil quid we paid for him, but I think he still has the potential to be a damaging player

Dempsey is a decent player but Liverpool have a history of turning good players from other EPL sides into duds in the last few years ;)

Carroll, Downing, Adam, Henderson, Shelvey, Konchesky, Enrique, Cole off the top of my head.
All of these guys were amongst the best players at their old EPL clubs yet since transferring to Liverpool most have been ordinary. Im prepared to give Carroll more time but for one reason or another the others havnt fitted in.
Not only that but you have paid well over the odds for some of these jokers, cant believe you paid over £20m for Downing when we got Young for £15m, i know which one id take ;)

Hang on, so by your own admission Downing wasn't anything special (seeing we paid over the odds - which is true), but we turned him into a dud? ;)

Carroll's had injury and off-field issues, Adam was a big fish in a small pond at Blackpool, Henderson wasn't a good player he just had potential, Shelvey is decent and has been ok with us, Cole was injury prone and past his best (which was at Chelsea with much better players around him than we had).

Reasons or excuses, I'm not sure maybe a combination of both?

Definitely we paid too much for most/many of those names
