no bet for me this week.

I will update all tables soon- the reason for the delay is 1) work 2) errors going back to R1, meaning I have to go through the whole lot again! :(

I think you made a mistake with them both mate, if plus or minus is stated its usually for $1.90 or $2.00, bookies aren't in the habit of giving points in for $3.60 and Sydney were never outsiders against Melbourne mate. Probably best to copy and past them so your future bets aren't invalid mate.

No Problems where you got the prices from but what was the bet? Win, Line or Margin...just put that...Ive given you the benefit of the doubt...see example below

You put -
2 units sydney @ $2.25
1 unit kangaroos +16.5 @ $3.60

SHould be -
2 units sydney Over 39.5 @ $2.25 (price was right)
1 unit kangaroos +16.5 @ $2.00 (price was $2-00, it was $3.60 for the outright win)

ok I apologise and will more accurate in future. I confess to being a novice at understanding the finer points of this betting stuff. The last time I bet on football was when Mr. Graham "1-12" Campbell was all the rage. Just to clarify (and please bear with me) my understanding is that, for example, the Kangaroos +16.5 meant that geelong could win by 16 pts and the bet still wins? Is that correct?
Once again I apologise for the confusion and vow to get the hang of it. By the way I did back the Kangaroos on Sportsbet @ $4.25 for a handy return.

Yep you got it..... if you back something at +16.5 / -16.5 the odds will usually be $1.90 to $2-00.

If +16.5 the team can lose up to 16 points and you still collect, conversely if you take -16.5 the team has to win by 17 or more for you to collect
