This story, which is just about the only thing that the SANFL has ever publicly published on the topic (just what is so wrong about the central organising body posting the rules of its competition on its website?; I'm also looking at you, AFL, when I ask that), simply says, 'you're AFL listed, 5 games'. No distinction for rookie-listed players. Unless they ain't telling us something. I think Pfeiffer started the year as a rookie but needs 5 games .. Think they changed the rules this year, but happy to stand corrected .. As you said, not our players and would be folly to plan on having them
