Have to agree, our ump and their ump worked well as a team, they both let the play go longer than most other umps giving both teams a chance to get the ball out.

JB swallows his whistle, doesn't pay many frees, which seems to piss a lot of people off, but it's the best way to let the footy flow.

Was good to see both umps use the reds n yellows on players from their own sides to diffuse 'situations'.

Probably lucky i left when i did i was settling in well mainly thanks to the drinks you kept racking up!

4 ladies days this year, don't know how you get so much input into other teams social calendars .

Should have stuck around, very big night :partyman: :drinkers: The ladies got messier ( except for one little blond ladie who seemed a bit down after you boys left ;) ) and HBF moonbootin' all over the dance floor with some silly bloody thing on his head. 200th and a 40th on the same night = a massive hang over today. x_x

As i said probably a good idea we left when we did!

They tell me Plympton has a ladies day this saturday carey. Maybe you can excuse yourself from the after match awards and turn up when everyone is primed for your guest appearance.

sadly no team lists being produced at games this year that i've seen and no guernsey numbers on sportingpulse so an interested spectator does not have much chance to know who is who.

number 1 was having a good yack to the umps at half time, maybe that was him??

You beat Uni during Uni holidays, well done mate =D>

uppington's 200th game, i think you'll find that uni fielded a strong side to try and give a club great a win for that milestone. the two reids plus slipper are all quality plus a few others whose names escape me. they were as strong if not stronger than when we played them earlier in the year IMO.

we did what needed to be done and now look to woody sth. massive game for the club, we'll know if we are genuine premiership contenders after this saturday.

I noticed N.Kurzel in the 'C' grade aswell

Didn't he win the A grade Ass. Medal a couple of years ago?

Nick is just back from overseas. May have trained once.

well he tipped against his own side the previous 2 weeks, versus lockleys (who we had since beaten) and woodville south..and it was 8th v 4th..so i am saying he obviously gave them a great chance for the reasons we have mentioned here previously..then we had a look at the uni weekly "substandard" which told us all what was going down for uppingtons 200th and their nickname for our club "Colonel Light Garbage"

Should be a colourful day at Mawson Lakes Hotel Oval Saturday for this week’s triple header against Ingle Farm and Fitzroy. We’ll be lucky enough to have a model body painted in our colours inside our club rooms. She’ll be there around 12:30 for those interested in having a look. Might even bring some ‘Non footy lovers’ to MLFC this week ;) Hopefully Half Back Flanker, Punk Rooster and old farmer are ready for their photo with her :)
