Very good sportsmanship by all the teams except for french frog Rolland, but they picked him and have slowed down again.

was his steak contaminated as well?

Cadel now safely back in the peleton, well done to the teams for waiting for him.

The perpetrator of the sabotage should be guillotined FFS ... and Pierre Rolland won't have many mates tonight either.

Thanks to the wanker who did that. I don't want Wiggins to win because I think he's boring, Indurain style. But whoever did that dog act cost us a stage of the tour. Anything could have happened on the last roads today, instead it turned into a procession while they waited for Cadel.

On the plus side, Luis Leon Sanchez is anything but boring and a great win. To ride away from 4 riders of the ilk of Sagan, Casar, Gilbert and Izaguirre over 10km is brilliant. Sagan though has basically put the green out of everyone's reach with a magnificent ride. I keep waiting to see him break down suddenly because he seems to be working so hard day in, day out. There's still the chance he hits a mountain and can't get over it but I think that's the only way he won't win it now.

I'm going to wait to find out what Rolland knew. He did seem to come back very quickly from a 2 minute lead, suggests to me he sat up. Could be he didn't get the word from his team for a while.

We had some idiot laying tacks on one stage of the TDU this year as well but luckily they were found before the peleton came through.

What possess these faarkwits?

As for Rolland, it appeared that he didn't listen to the other riders.

Seems that there's a chance the crash just over the top of the climb was caused by these tacks. I hope they find whoever did it, I don't think it's too dramatic to say that a flat at high speed down those mountains can lead to worse than a broken collarbone. People die in cycling and this idiot could have been the cause of the latest one.

hope they catch them and they should make them ride down a hill over the tacks and see what happens to them!

This stuff really ruins the spectacle of the whole event/sport. You find yourself wondering who is clean and who isn't far too often.

Hear what you are saying scoob but I'm of the opinion no matter how many drugs they have they are still amazing athletes and would be hurting every step of the stages esp in the mountains. I love it

Is strange - not too many sports that you watch and want people to crack! I love watching them reach the so called red zone and start dropping off... whats your prediction dutchy has cadel got it in his leg to ride away from wiggins on the climbs?

I know I'm hoping he has, I think tonight will be all out war on the yellow jersey! Still won't be surprised to see Froome attack if Wiggins cracks early
