bloozebrother wrote:A big thanks to Mawson Lakes who supplied the most unproffesional offcials today. Firstly a young lad umpiring the boundary was reduced to tears after the game cause he couldnt throw the ball in - it got recalled at least 25 times. he was less than 4 feet tall and must be under the official age and grown men were standing by doing sweet FA except trying to justify it - pathetic! Secondly the goal umpire chose to wear the ML colors (instead of officials colors and not to mention his constant abuse of our forwards) and when the lions were storming home awarded a point touched when it was at least a foot over the line! i know its div 6 but if you put your hand up to do a job - do it properly with some integrity!

thats about 2 months ago and has nothing to do with who played better..dont hate..just debate..whos your team easy miss?..i am curious now! :)

Didn't say it did all I said was the same bloke arked up when you lost last time ;)
I'm no aligned to any saafl club mate love my SANFL too much just like browsing through all the threads :)

Listen easy miss - your allowed to give your opinion without getting personal. Im not 'arking up about losing' just informing what went down. both games were frustrating as they were both there for the taking and we blew it. When your passionate about your club you can sometimes speak before you think - it happens from the top down. I have seen so many threads that are ten times worse than the '2' that have been highlighted this year. The ML game had alot of emotion attached to it and alot of people would regret what was said that day and last week i was responding to claims that our club are cheats and i think it is right to stick up for your club. Now move on and let us enjoy what is a thrilling competition. P.S All clubs mingle after games which is pretty rare these days so there is alot of respect amongst the clubs.

Just want to give my opinon on the Woody South v CLG b grade game. Well done to CLG winning after being 6 goals down.CLG support staff on the sidelines are a buch of big mouthed smart arse dwarfs and the time keeper blowing the siren too early is a dead set cheat.Apparently Woody south B's are a bunch of "old men", well we are definately stuffed now considering we have 4 to come back in 3 30 year olds and one at 38.Time will tell.

Worry about your own team not our coaching staff or timekeeper, I thought it was funny that your bench was saying how are clg top, they are pathetic half way through the 3rd qaurter. Before you say anything more on the issue make sure your club staff were always correct or if you even had the correct staff there!

Good work soody south posters keeping the CLG faithful distracted from their preparations this week.

Back in '09 our a grade played an elimination final against rosies at their ground. there was the view that the last quarter was about 3 minutes short. we lost by a coule of points after cahring back into the game. in the end the lesson was learnt, don't have your time keeper sitting somehwere else if you feel they should have some oversight of timekeeping during the game. by my watch (without stopping for time on) that quarter went 26 minutes which is about the norm. maybe if we didn;t give them a 5 goal head start noone would have cared. no one complained on the day, they just took it on the chin.

Having also kept time for many a and b grades, people only care when its close and the game is almost over. i've been accused of cheating by people who have stood somewhere else all day and would have no idea.

imo, it only reflects on the individual who is making the accusations of cheating.

Anyway, back to the footy ....

Woody South v Houghton - super tough gig for Houghton. Could almost seal the minor premiership for the cats based on percentage
Lockleys v lakes - must win for both, have to go with the home side
CLG v BOS - both in good form, can't separate them
TOS v IF - Trinity to consolidate in the 5
Uni v CU - United to continue knocking on the door of the 5

quite right beefy, but mighty hounds is an exception, the one i refer to as 'there's one in every crowd'. he is a good lad though.
on the day i don't think anyone was vocal about it is what i should have written.
you'd agree the 5 goal head start not the time keeping was our biggest problem that day. only a few weeks before we'd had a very good day there. maybe some thought it would just happen.

I'm shocked to see Lockleys sitting outside the 5, how many have they lost on the trot now? Not an easy game v ML this week either for them. Good young team on their day I reckon.

No players whinged because we didnt know it happened until later that night. Plus its good seeing the karma bus hit Rosewater with a winless season fast approaching.

might be CLG! the first round loss to HDFC has been haunting us all year, i really couldnt say who it will be but i reckon you need 11 wins and above 54% unless there are some upsets..

looks like it will be a div 5 circa 2011 finish down to percentage..

The quarter went for 26 min according to sprinter, so I have no idea what you're talking about when you say "it happened". Somehow I dont think the karma bus would bother resorting to picking up sore losers.
