I think he was referring to Morphett Vale not Morphetville Park.

Correct. Morphett Vale are no chance for the flag but Morphetville Park are a massive chance

As said previously would never write off the emus in September

I noticed some big bags of goals on the weekend including Golding kicked 10. With some tough games ahead the magical ton would be a massive stretch however I see smithy is on 94, which begs the question of when was the last time a falcon kicked 100 goals in a year?? Also, how many would have golding kicked all up for noarlunga over the last few years? Surely he would be close to their highest on record??

Godwin back in 1997...

Smith has 242 in 52 Games...

Well that raises a fair question then. Who would you rather have Smith or Golding??

Looking forward to seeing the 'best' or most in form full forward in the league Sam Smith play against the 'best' full back in the league Brad Bennett this week.

Both Smith and Golding are very well suited to their respective teams' game style........ Each team would say their own player i would say.
How old is Smith? He only looks 22/23/24???

As previously mentioned what a great finals series this is shaping up to be, all 4 finals will be close games one would've thought, Emu's still a good chance for the flag, have some key personnel ready to return soon so have yet to put a full strength side on the park, so will be a bit of an unknown to all of us, best thing about this finals series is it will be conducted without the Wineflys! Been far too many years since they last missed

afc, just wondering why you consider this would be an upset? Reynella higher on the ladder and with winning form vs Flaggies at home. I would say a 50 /50 contest and certainly won't be surprised at any outcome including a draw!!!

Home game for Flaggies, Pigs have underperformed and therefore should have a lot of upside. Reynella have struggled, but have surprised a few when they hit their best form. I would say a 60/40 to Flaggies. They are virtually polar opposites in my opinion, in that Flaggy have recruited well, but underperformed, whereas Reynella lost a pile of players, were expected to do it tough with a younger team, yet have been able to scrape out the wins.

Not being an insider at Flaggy, I would have thought this year would be considered a poor result after all the hyperbole about them last year. What are your thoughts?

Fair call albeit would question the recruiting bit. Only new A grader is Shearer a running mid-fielder which was not our primary target (with no disrespect intended). We still miss a few big bodies to feed the fleet of very quick runners that we have. Also lost a few from last year. Has been a very inconsistent year not only match to match but within matches. Agree we probably expected to be better placed than we are but that is also due to improved competition . Still a few weeks to go and we are certainly not out of it. Our very best maybe only a day away. ;)

Unfortunately a similar story in B grade with four winning margins, 150, 152, 197 and 216.

if you are that senile you think its acceptable should run for the sfl board you would be a shoe in

Heard the same yesterday. if true thats great news for the shoes.
I heard Reynella and Hackham have already been sniffing around for a new head and David Evans is apparently attempting to throw his hat back in the SFL circles???
