Shit when I was playing at kilburn div 2r there wasn't as much pressure to drop everything to turn up on time! They understood work commitments took priority..

Your in a bit of trouble if you have informer as your side kick PG! haha. Enough is enough though PG - everyone has to sacrifice to enjoy the good things in life these days! I now realize what i miss out on. I apologize for making ascertions (got lost on that word) on your life and we all live in different circumstances. I wish i had another 10 hours in a saturday cause i miss my daughters netball every week (she just reminded me) - we can only do what time will allow us - good luck in what ever you do!

Mate you can continue to play your childish games if u like, all i am saying is PG has done so much for Ingle Farm this season, he has paid his subs before the season has started and now cant enjoy his football on a Saturday because he might get there around 11.30. His has nothing but stood up for the club and answered everyone's questions on here when they have bagged his club with a honest answer.
I am sorry i haven't given enough to my club or helped football in any way because at times i put other things in life in front of it.
Good luck to you and your club

no wonder Kilburn are not in Div 2 anymore!

Will be back there soon.

Wowee, what a bunch of peanuts on here. If I was playing Div 6R I'd be pissed every Friday night and most likely turning up drunk.

Would then proceed to show this IF coach a thing or two.

Maybe Ingle Farm would want to start by stopping guys drinking beer before they go out to play reserves more than someone turning up 10 mins late?

Holy S**t. I am away from the office for a day and IF turn into the Mawson Lakes of the forum, thought they were the only ones who could attract 4 pages of crap posted about them ( and yes i did notice how much your trying to stir things informer ).
Lets clear some things up...Firstly, The problem is not guys turning up at 11.30, we are talking about guys with no excuse that continually turn up at 12, NOT GOOD ENOUGH no matter what grade you play.
Secondly, PG you brought your personal life to the forum, don't complain that everyone is talking about it, and go and talk to the ccoach because i'm pretty sure that guys like yourself that have a legitimate excuse will not be a problem to Max, but make sure he has the info and don't expect him to know about everyones life without being told.
Thirdly it is not an issue to anyone in a position of authority within the club, just the narrow minded few who still have a problem with disipline and rules being introduced. Hey but they are the ones we need to weed out to make the club sa better place so if they don't like it, see ya later...

And to people like Shrek and Informer who want to get on here and argue for 4 pages about something you have no idea about and are not part of our club, go away and worry about whether your club is ok...

I know CLG havent been in div 4 since the early nineties and want to rectify that and to achieve that need to attract better players - hence a more professional approach to achieving that. It may not happen this year but they are on the right track.

Bloozebrother, you are one serious div 6 footballer!

What would be your prediction about where the CLG FC will be in a few years time?

Just out of curiousity from the position of a local rival club.

Jetters, im football director at CLGFC, im not going to put a prediction on what division we will be in, in 5 years. We have such a young group which allot of people in div 6 would regard quite highly. We need to keep this group together and continue to recruit good qaulity footballers and people. My personal goals is for the club to have 100 registered senior footballers, with full support staff for 3 teams. We have some fantastic people incharge of the junior club, the work troy, dean etc are doing is outstanding. Our Auskick is award winning and a great platform to start with. We must grow our junior to having atleast 6 teams 8s 9s 10s 12s 14s and 17s. Next year we will have 5 junior sides. At club level, id like to see us in a good financial situation, succesful social functions (we had over 100 people at our ball this year)

In the past we have been known to have a reputation of being a little thuggish, we have completely changed our image and today are one of the best behaved teams in the SAAFL and MSJFL, We look forward to the challenge and WILL be succesful and look forward to playing Unley, Mitcham etc in the not so distant future[/quo

As much as i enjoy reading the intelligent, sophisticated debate that has graced the last 5-6 pages, I would like to inform everyone of the 5 games of football on saturday! the majority of which could go either way. Looking forward to heading out to Holland park to take on United who will likely be fired up and ready to go after their disappointing loss last week. I rekon if we can keep captain Frith and the machine Hall we are a fair chance to get the away victory. Fingers crossed Woodward has an off day and doesnt get about 50 touches like he did last time. Cant wait!

Trinity and lockleys is another game that will shape the 5. who wouldve thought 6 weeks ago that lockleys would be sitting a game out of the 5 and facing an uphill battle to make finals!
