both times we played hope valley big haggerstrom was outstanding and always in there best, easily best big man in the div
smokies- duggan just a champion, schofield (lutheran) very good player and matty paul (lodge) last 6 to 8 weeks has been really good as well.bussie from glenulga will poll well early when they were winning. But i think its a 2 horse race between clark and haggerstrom

Haggers had a quiet one the first time we played you.

The Div 3 to Div 8 medal count is under going a format change. Whilst the time and location are correct as previously listed
WEDNESDAY 6.30pm start at Thebarton.
The way it has been set out in previous years hasnt probably been as sucessful at bringing all the clubs together as the league would have hoped. Some ideas are being put forward on exactly how it is going to be run now in an attempt to improve the night for the clubs, participants and most importantly the winners who earn their association medals.

If anyone has any suggestions on ways they feel they could improve the night i would love to read them.

I don't think I've ever been to a medal count that has started anywhere near the proposed starting time.
That could be a start..

Div 7- Sam Fairclough from Henley has played 11 games so far and that's enough for 33 votes. Henley do have their own club umpire.  I do think Chris Stephens from Nth Pines will poll higher than Creek, Carey.

J Sheedy will go close, will lead the count early on, late season losses will hurt though.

Surely McDowell will poll alot although ineligible. Will probably be in front as he is known to poll well.

In years past, the invitees to the medal count are usually released. Top5-10 vote getters from each club
Has that made it's way around yet?

I reckon it should go back to the clubs. For example:
Div 3, 4, at Hectorville
Div 5, 6 and 7 at Fitzroy
C1, C2, C3, C4, C7 at Ovingham

More time can be spent on the counts, (i.e - reserves done on their own, rather than at the same time), invite 4 from each club (not sure how many are invited now?)

It can be rotated each year so each club gets a go at it and certain criteria can be put in place that clubs have to meet to be able to host (a bit like a home final)

It will either be top 2 from each side or the top 10 in each grade - I must admit I thought at the delegates meeting they voted for the top in each grade, that way the 10 invited are a realistic chance of winning
