Good win by the dogs yesterday... 2nd half of the season was really good, shame we just missed out playing finals..
Is it true SW full forward quit the club via text MSG on Friday night??? Pretty odd thing to do wit one game left...

If you enter a ruck contest looking at the other ruckman, and not the ball, you contravene Rule 15.4.5 (f)

A Player makes Prohibited Contact with an opposition Player if
the Player:
(f) pushes, bumps, holds or blocks an opposition Player
who is contesting a bounce or throw by a field Umpire or
boundary throw in;

Jimmy if that rule was in place at westminster last week Adam Ohara would have given away 200 free kicks on his own

It is the same rule (different clause) as when you run front on at a player taking a mark & have your eyes on him and not on the ball.

Thoughts on finals??

I just can't see the home sides losing.. .hopefully this is how it works out for us in a couple of weeks.

Pulteney seem to be the bogey team for GG, so if there is any sort of upset it might be that one.

Medal: Perrie or maybe one of the Scotch guys Cahill, Will Thorpe, Twopennys.

Fingers crossed hey. Pultney have been our bogey but results have been close. Round 1 we should have stitched them up. Bad kicking is bad football though

Our best will probably be Scott Peterson or Todd Sheppard. Shep has had a quiet last month though

I'm not nervous. I think the boys are glad we are playing Pultney really. You don't want to get to far ahead, but if we were to do something special this year, we wouldn't deserve it unless we can prove that we can beat them. Our best is good enough

Should get at least 3 back.
Their is a list of about 4 others (on top of 4 more we won't get back) that are a chance to come back at some point. Depends how deep into the finals we go

I wouldn't say we're nervous, probably determined if anything to prove that we can beat Pulteney. They have played well against us both times so it looks forward to being an interesting game. I will be waiting in my car before the game to run Ian Perrie over on his way to the changerooms...... I know he was much maligned when he was at the Crows but I always liked him for some reason and I respect what he does playing amateur footy now. Will be a cracker of a game !!

Scotch and Salisbury West will be an interesting game too with wins being shared this year. Hope they beat the living suitcase out of each other....
