Ah I forgot Skitter. Having a great year as well. Don't think he has won one yet and would be a deserving victor if he did.

Natter also led the comp with 92 goals Morrell. No 1 in all divisions. Well done Skipper.

Should be some really good games tomorrow in both Div 7 and Div 7 reserves. TTG and Henley look really strong and what an opportunity to play on the wonderful Adelaide Airport Stadium (Thebarton oval). Will be a very high quality contest between 2 high quality clubs, and interestingly Henley's A's finished top in Div 1 and TTG's A's finished top in Div 2. Good luck lads.

Hahaha, thanks willowupfront, stats are what I am really good at and frankly, without them I don't have a job. Well done today by the Gullies and we welcome you again to the den next saturday for another big clash. Also Angle Vale over Nth Pines in another predictable result. To Bigshow82, well done champ, personally I believe you have made great inroads into your club this year and at least have a long term programme for future success. Stay in touch big fella.

Must be hard when you have neutral umpires in finals and not your own cheating club umpire you have had all year hey marbles? You still got the sads up cos Fairclough went off before half time and didn't return? Broken ribs season over I'm hearing

Would be very interested to hear who everyone thinks the best full back in Div 7 is, or who should be in the team of the year. Martinovic from Flinders Park is good but he wouldn't have played enough games. Need 12 or more I reckon. Pitman from Henley maybe?

They were definitely quick on the trigger, which makes wet weather football harder. The calls didn't really favor anyone, just the first to the ball, which int a bad thing, they were just a bit soft.

I agree with this. Played on him earlier in the year and it was tough.

Never. Not once has that happened. Neither were the calls for the mighty Tea Gully Beach Whales appropriate. I think even a few "sort it out marbles!" were heard as well. The Marion Football Cub need to look at their players behaviour IMHO.

--------

In other news, great game by the MPFC B Grade. First finals victory for as long as I have been at the club.

Very sad to see everyones favourite player Johnny Byrne head back to Ireland after the game though. For those that don’t know his story – Johnny come over to Australia late last year I think and heard a bit of commotion at the Den during a training. Came and had a look and Troy Pots and Joe Leck went over to say hello as you do. Turns out he played quite elite level Gaelic back home and said he wouldn’t mind having a crack at “AFL”. So out he came and he blew everyone away with his enthusiasm, humility and let’s be honest, hilarious accent.

All the best Irish, you’re a Mitty Park Lion now mate!

Henley D grade very average on saturday, will need a few ins to get a win this week imo. So slow!
I didn't see any of the C grade, but missing Fairclough for most of the game and Loveder is a massive blow! Will be a tough game against Angle Vale.
TTG seem to be pretty up and about, their B's getting over Uni at Uni! Mitchell park may not have the flag wrapped up after all.

huh?..based on what?

you defeating them twice?

you playing on your home ground miles from TTG?

you had a weeks rest in A grade and a week to run some guys into form in the B grade?

dont be afraid of being the favorite..its a deserved title..you lost 1 game in the minor round..its your flag to lose.. :D
