Bulltish. Talk it down. Anyone going into any GF not feeling the pressure is not going in prepared.
Keep talking it down ;)

Totally agree. Pretty sure no team goes to a Granny under no pressure....

Unley or Mercedes (I thought that was a girls school) should win all 3 premierships this weekend. Am I the only one that hope they lose all 3? Just asking.

That happened to us last year and wouldnt wish it on anyone (even though Unly beat us in B's and C's) the only benefit is at club that night is that everyone felt the same and didnt have some players happy and some pissed off. Having said that Im pretty sure they will win the b grade and C grade, not so sure about the A's. How long have they been in Div 4?

Since 2002. Should've been relegated one year but got to stay up (edwardstown)
Last weeks win was big relief.

It's finally good to see unley actually achieve something, instead of you being THAT side who assed itself out of relegation year in year out...
We're doing pretty good actually, got promoted last year and won a flag then only just missed out on playing finals this year. My club as whole has been awesome the past decade... Goodluck tomorrow

I was originally a little bit 'meh' as to these GF's, but with the unbelievable cockiness, which I find baffling to be honest, I hope they get absolutely obliterated in all three grades.

They most probably won't because they do have some very good teams, which is a credit to them. That should be celebrated but i think for at least the community on here that has read with bewilderment the comments from Unley people about how much of a shoe-in they are, or the amazing comment that they can absolutely GUARANTEE (!!!) that no Unley player is feeling any pressure whatsoever. I asume we are all resigned to the fact that they will probably get thier hands on at least one flag, but I'll be waiting on the edge of our seats hoping like hell that they don't.

As the saying goes, give a bloke enough rope, they'll hang themselves. Someunley people on here have got that much rope thet thier feet will unfortunately touch the floor :(

MMM... I gave up on this forum because of the sniping and ill will. Put up an educated opinion and get no responses, someone posts a remark that people take as arrogant and the repsonses fly. Just checked in to see if there was any comments about tomorrow, - nothing's changed. My only questions:
1. One person posts a comment and it's taken as representative of the whole club - why?
2. People get very bitchy and then comment that 'Mercedes is a girls school' etc - look at y'selves (not technically a question before some one points it out).

My son, playing in an A grade GF tomorrow, has been a Jet since under 9's. About 40% of the A. B and C teams have come through juniors. THEY deserve our admiration not derision, it's about THEM not bitchy little sniping based on the odd comment on the forum.

May the best teams win, may the football be clean and entertaining. That's all I want to see.

And yes, silverware will be fantastic too.

Cheers to all.

Its unfortunate that the un-silent minority create a perception.
But its not my fault that Unley people have mouthed off about how good they are on here.

People do that in all walks of life unfortunately not just on a little footy forum. Don't tell me you have never cursed ALL politicians when one politician has done the wrong thing, or cursed ALL Muslims when a couple give the rest a bad name or slag the police when one rogue cop gives you a ticket ??

I think most people understand that one persons outspoken opinion CAN represent the rest and I think that is all that has been mentioned here....

Yes it's great that alot of the Unley boys have come through the juniors, that's what club footy is all about so I don't think anyone is begrudging that.

I agree though. I hope the footy is good and clean and that the weather is sunny and I can work on my tan
;)
