Good call mate, thought Bricknell in particular was exceptional .. Plenty of run and very damaging by foot.

Thought West's game plan was going to bring them unstuck in the third quarter, many potential turnovers, but they weren't made to pay like the Centrals teams of past years would have.
West seemed to change their game plan in the last quarter, a little more open and a bit more attacking purpose. let's hope we see more of it.
Can West play in the finals every year? Always seems to be a bit of biffo and controversy when they are. Will be interesting to see what comes of the Obst/Hartlett incident. Was virtually right in front of me, but I dodn't see a thing.

I saw the punch to Chris's throat, so did the ump hence the ball came back and Chris got the free. No harm done.
I hope teams work out a way to counter loose man "ugly" football. It really makes it a crappy spectacle. I was there with a couple of "neutrals", and it just wasn't a good display. Westies kicked about five goals ( I think) in the last, that was the only "flowing" footy. I'd be happy to win regardless of how it is as a spectacle, but I think "footy" is dying a bit, with these game plans.. It reminds me of the afl a couple of years ago.
I think we should have played "our own" game style today.
Next weeks game west v Norwood will be interesting.

Great. Thanks Thiele, any more good news?

Do us all a favour and report the whole side and rub them all out. Then I won't need to go next week.

I didn't see it either but of course Obst is guilty and should get 2 or 3 weeks. Today is the great day that just keeps giving.

Roy Laird mentioned on 5AA post game that the club medicos felt Menzel's injury might only be muscular and not structural. Will have scans tomorrow to determine the extent of the injury...

Let focus on footy gents - either the game just played or next weeks game and how the respective sides will need to improve to beat two quality sides in norwood or north -

Many moons ago when I lived in Canberra...

Ainslie Footy Club showed the GF.

They might show the finals.

Especially since it doesn't clash with the NRL...
