To good West, we blew our chance in the 3rd when we were 10(?) points up, there was the non Hayes goal, a Hardy miss and another couple of blow chances. West went on to kick the next 3 goals before 3 quarter time.

Going to be real tough now, we have struggled against North both times this year.

Only positive to look at is this is where the Eagles won the flag from last year.

A disappointing result yesterday but well done to Andy Collins and Westies on the win. Hope they really take it up to Norwood this week.

Thought we were in with a real chance in the third quarter but the missed opportunities really hurt us.

Hope we can bounce back this week against North but they are sure to give us a real battle as they've done this year and we'll need to play better to win this week. Hopefully no suspensions come out of yesterday we need a full strength team and a bit of biffo in finals surely should be expected! Hope young Menzel is okay to play too.

3rd quarter on the goal line. Umpire said it was touched or his foot was over the line when he kicked it. Apparently the replay shows it wasn't. Can't confirm that because I haven't seen the replay. Going to have a look today.

Just spoke to Haysey and he said he couldn't tell so didn't argue. I was behind the goals and it looked like a goal in real time.

To me the replay looked like it was a goal.

The Hayes one was definatly a goal but the way we played the goal would have been given West would have got the clearance and Fisher would have marked and goaled within a minute of us scoring.

Looked like a goal to me in real time. Just one of those decisions. Can't blame the umpire for not getting that right.

I guess at the end of the day, winning finals is the most important thing, not the style you play
