I thought you guys said McNamara was a shoe in for the medal, which he won, and he only came 2nd???

A bloke that kicks 60 odd goals will always poll better internally. It was literally only a couple votes in it, those 2 were ahead of the rest by a mile!

60 goals is just over 3 goals per game, and being an ex-backman who thinks forwards get f***ing every thing given to them on a plate, 3 kicks a game.
Any forward not kicking 3 goals per game is lazy

Any forward not kicking 3 goals per game is lazy

Great thing about Cotts is, he goes down back when we need to prop up our defence and plays great there too.
He is also not ur average forward, hes a Craigmore High legend, one day out at Salisbuy High in Yr 12 he kicked 25 goals! It was amazing to watch lol

Also announced tonight, the A Grade B&F will from 2012 onwards be known as the Pilgrim Medal, honouring Barry Pilgrim, the greatest player to ever pull on a Salisbury jumper. Captain/coach/B&F for six straight years in the 70s, with five association medals in there, as well as four premierships. Was great to have Barry there to present for the first time.

And Darren Reeves has been re-appointed as Salisbury coach for 2013.
