Nearly brought my breakfast up thinking of that .. If we're gonna go down, I hope it's comfortably

I just got the feeling one game in five weeks may hurt Norwood. If West come out and attack the ball and create a lead and go to the way they played against North they will lose. West need to attack all day and not give Norwood any room. I still feel Westies will win by under a goal.

That is the only factor I can see preventing a Norwood win - the one game.
This is a hungry unit under a coach they respect and with a supporter base that will swamp any noise Westies will make.

Footy will be the winner in 2013 when the Dogs are back in the grand final.

Some omens -

For West: If my understanding is correct, Mick Beech missed West Adelaide's last premiership after injuring himself earlier in the season. If fit, it is likely he would've played in the grand final. His son, Jono, is missing the 2012 grand final through injury.

For Norwood: Sam Fisher played in Westies' most recent grand final, which was a loss. Brother Ben is playing for the Bloods this weekend.

FWIW...

WAFL GF admission was $28 adults, $20 for WAFL club members ( and WC and Freo members) and $18 concession.

A good idea to reward those that financially support their club.

The last time Norwood played West in a Grand Final, Peter Aish was Norwood captain, and best player in a losing side.

Of course his grandson James Aish is playing in this game

If everyone is fit I would expect Bonney and maybe Hill to miss. Logan Hill would be very unlucky

And Joel Tippett nowhere to be seen ??? I wander how much he got paid by the Crows to front up for Westies to keep his brother company.

Don't tell me he is injured, he ran off the ground very comfortably during the last minutes of the Second Semi

Cheers,

Didn't he go off in the third quarter and on his way to hospital for scans before the game was over? Nwd kicked to the northern end in the last, and he hurt himself down the southern.

He has a back injury that mean he wouldn't be a chance of playing for the next 2 weeks at least as far as i understand.
