Would have been interesting to see given both sides had clearances in for the same player mid week.

What were the final scores Tim, did Waterhouse perform well for you guys. Certainly bowled ok at training on Tuesday night at Sandy Creek. Guess we will have to give his uniform to someone else ;)

Can't believe this bloke trained and told sandy he was playing for them Tuesday night . A little funny actually. Both sides had a clearance in for the same guy. Wow.

He has played with us before and said he was coming back out this year and has just done a no show. Last year he trained with us and said that he was going to play B grade so was selected but he ended up playing that weekend for Wallaroo i think. He gets around.

Good to see you back from your trip safe and sound Bigbull...I imagine there would have been some stories there for sure.

What sort of a time is that to have a wedding? There are a couple of weeks between footy and cricket each year and that should be enough time for anyone to get married.

I'm still curious about how you blokes managed to bribe the association to avoid the road trip to Gawler this year? Were you a bit scared about backing up your performance at Kingsford Karaoke?

this was discussed at length at training last wk.. and a formal complaint will be made to the association regarding no game at the dog track.. its believed maybe knighty put in due to the fact he was still out drinking pints at 2am after the game vs GV.. also ive heard kingy and doof didnt want the bulls visiting gawler again as boof and rocky drank the PA out of jager? not sure how true that story is.. the performace of sweet caroline at the kingsford will go down as one of the funniest karokes ive ever watched..

Want to take my hat off to Gilbert Valley on Saturday, you can't help but admire those blokes up there, this game had some of the best players for both sides out but undoubtably the bulls were a lot more depleted than ango , but the game went right down the wire with Ango just hanging on... I just want to make mention of a individual performance in this game from a oposition view, we often hear about the big names in the comp like king, mullins , reimann etc when they do well but there was a great effort by a kid on sat, Jamie molineux firstly with the ball we were 3/ 140 and he come on and took 4/ 6, and was the main reason we collapsed to be all out for 159.
Then the bulls were chasing and I'd never seen the kid bat higher than 11, so when he walked out to bat at 8 with 60 odd still to get I must admit I felt pretty confident but the determination he showed was fantastic and almost single handedly won them the game he made 40 odd in good time but wickets kept falling around him and finally we got him out and ended up winning by 13 runs, but it was a great game and well done to GV who will be a force in this comp once again.

So does anybody know who this Hannun bloke for Freeling is? Have heard he is a bit of a slapper with a good eye, can anyone shed some light on him? Off to a good start with bat and ball it might look as though Freeling might be a one man team!

Great post, Scud. It's great when a kid surprises you, even if he does hold you up from getting into the beers early.

A bit harsh to call him a slapper! Does play every shot in the book. Just happens to have a great eye. We are def not a one man team though. But by all means only worry about him.

Played many years against him, great eye and hard to get out once he is in. Hits the ball hard. Once he is in can hit 100 before you know it.
