Seriously I agree with you but I don't think KT will give it away right now. I think his playing days are numberd but when is another matter.
Wish him well and good luck..... just because someone leaves your club no need to turn on them like a pack of dogs.

The way he has gone about it has caused people to turn on him.... cant blame anyone but himself and his manager

His managers doing his job to the best of his ability, remember the more money Kurt gets the more money his manager gets.

Exactly right. Kurt needs to handle himself. His manager will do his bit and that to get the best deal.

"Suns have moved on" no interest in Tippett
Sydney must have a very good accountant if they can afford the alleged price tag for Kurt

Or hoping Sydney try to pick him up in the draft so they can pounce first

GWS in the hunt now according to the afl website. They obviouslynhabe some very high draft picks an are willing to get rid of a few in order to gain Tippet if the right deal with sydney can't be done!

Kurt is trying to play the free agency card 2 years before he is eligble for free agency.

I realised I was potentially open to comments, but it is an important issue and my own experience (and good luck) seemed relevant. :)

I agree we can't blame him for taking the money, especially since his playing days may be numbered.
I agree though with others that the, "I want to go home - to Sydney!" rankled those who may otherwise have been sympathetic.

I've had mixed feelings about him as a player.
Under Neil Craig he was built up as a FF "star", and I think that made the Crows attack a bit one dimensional.
It also limited what we got out of him, and possibly his development as a player.
It will be interesting to see what happens now GWS have expressed interest: http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/ ... fault.aspx

What made the crows attack one dimensional was Craig's stupidity in not playing the real star forward in Walker

He will end there through PSD and KT has no bargaining power. Crows should offer KT and a fringe player for pick 2 or 3 and 12 or 13.

This is the exact type of scenario that lead Nick Stevens into the PSD away from the club of his choice and kept ROK at Sydney.

It's why the Players' Association lead the charge to bring in free agency but, as I said earlier, Tippett isn't yet qualified for FA despite acting like he is.

I think he'll still end up at Sydney but maybe this will push the Swans to give a little more.

Think it's just both clubs flexing their muscles a bit, one will give sooner or later.

Crows will take anything they can get on the last day of the trade period. They talk tough saying they will let him walk but that would be irresponsible. Pick 20odd is better than nothing.
