I cant see any team getting close to the green and white next season.
Have they got a coach yet?

Possible crowd of 3000 at a major sporting event in the city and security knock off at half time, seemingly there only job was to check the cars for alcohol, not keep check on unruly behaviour etc, police presence non-existant, until some idiot wacks the umpire, Lions running the catering, you would think they would be good at this as they do it every week and especially in the finals as they have plenty of helpers as they are never in the main game, and yet there were line up's for food and beer (hot) selling out of a caravan.... wtf, $4.50 reasonable price but why not make it $5 and forget about having to mess around with too much change......no brainer!!
FFS Lions & SGL get your collective heads out of your arse and get over to the Northern Areas and see how a GF should be run, with double the crowd Pirie had on the weekend, security actually patrolling the WHOLE of the ground, keeping it as family friendly as possible, not having to put up with senior colts lads sitting in the back of utes with the F's & C's flying for all to hear, not a good PR for the SGL at all.
Phew got that of my chest, could go on but only repeating what people have been saying for years.
You guys in the nothern areas footy league have always been sooks. you are the poor cousins 2 the great north eastern league. leave other leagues alone and worry about your players being poached 2 play in more esteemed leagues
What a ridiculous and uninformed statement. NAFA and NEFL are professionally managed leagues with a similar standard of footy and regular home and away crowds of 600-700. NAFA's junior development program is the envy of many a country association

600 - 700 crowds minus junior footy and netball. This equals 200 - 300 same number that attends sgl.

Also cheetah please inform me who you have poached to your more esteemed sgl from nafa lately outside employment love to know as i cant think of one. Nearly all that have come over to nafa have gone back with their tail between their legs cos they couldnt crack it. Can only think of 2 or 3 who been good.

We dont poach players from your league because it has been well documented and observed that NAFA players dont cut the mustard when it comes 2 are standard of footy!

The mighty CAT empire would win by 15 goals against the Brook. Another year in the young legs. Ryan "Hurricane" Hoare picking up dispoals at will. Hitting Scotty Mac lace out! champgane football!

C'mon Squids a bit of comedy to kick off the weekend is always welcome, but seriously, Crystal Brook's midfield led by Adam Noonan in ruck and Luke Kapitola in the centre would murder South's. You havnt got a defender good enough to go with blokes like Jimmy Wardle and you havnt got a forward good enough to bludge kicks off brothers Ben and Cam Arbon. South's wouldn't be killed off by the Brook but they wouldn't win either.

Kapitola most overrated footballer in NAFA. sorry had 2 be sed, watch this team a few times this year. When it came 2 the crunch was often seen running from the heat of battle.

I only observe the NAFA from a distance but even I can see that a number of the players who have come to the SGL from the NAFA have held their own. Matt Keatley, Justin Duffy, Matt Woolford are a few from Central Augusta alone who have been dominant players in the SGL. There are probably more who have gone the other way without cutting the mustard.(Nigel Anderson, Craig Tee, Ryan Hoare etc from your club for example). I support the SGL but can't support your comment Cheetah. Agreed, the NAFA premiers might be just off SGL premier pace (without an SGL type budget) but give them more respect mate.

I love the posts were people say they are not affilated with any club or observe the league from a distance. We had quite gale blow into are league a few years ago. But could not knock down a house of cards.

Big cox there has always been big money thrown round the NAFA. Plenty of farmers putting hard earned money back into sides for benefit of club. The mighty cat empire would have the lowest spending budget on players in SGL, NAFA, WFA AND NEFA. A passion for your club, jumper, mates will always over ride the dollar.

mighty big call there cheetah...i know what they offered some guys to play for them last year (who end up turning them down) and it wasnt a low spending budget.
paying blokes is fine as long as ur paying for the right ones and getting ur $$$ worth....there a few of ur mighty cats who need to hand some of there $$$ to young Nick Redman for keeping them alive during the finals series, why they strutted around having no impact.

Think you find your club has been throwing money round as much as any one. Mate of mine went to Sollies for top Price from Roxby!
