Vikings update
Sugg and Marks both confirmed to be leaving Ironbank and coming back to Valleys - squad pretty happy about that strengthens an already strong team
Nathan Eagleton retiring
Mt Lofty Full Forward also coming to the valley - no name as yet but a close mate of Peterson Gray and Brown

I believe Cranston will be heading home and backwell may stick around and be involved in a coaching type position

Heard over the weekend that Trevor Cranston will be staying, Backwell has a position of some sort at South Adelaide, but will play for Morphie Parks when he can. Also there are a couple of other Glenelg players could be lining up for the Roos next season.

He'd want to have plenty of players coming with him coz he's gonna need them.

Brighton need players? You sure about that Mercy man? One thing they don't need is more players, IF they secure Cox he will have an abundance of ex 18's/ressies, even league that will likely want to suit up for him, best thing for the rest of the comp is they don't sign Cox.

Wonder if they would be returning if Valley had've finished mid top 8 like they have been doing the last 10 or so years?

Very good get. Has extensive experience as player/coach/developer and talent scout so would also have a strong network.

Who knows, but wouldn't be the first players to seek greener pastures then return. Good for the Valley to have options for 2013.

The mutiny of Mahony is officially completed. Word down at Ezy-Tan Brighton is that 10-15 A-GRADE players are on the move.

If it is true that Dogga has signed on at Reynella that's fantastic news for the club. I knew Milo was headed back and was trying his best to make sure Doughty came back.
Don't know how true it is but I had heard the rumour that maybe Bradshaw was returning along with Ciampa but Farrier was staying at Keith.
I don't think Ware will be back, from what I heard on the weekend he has already got his sign on from Meningie for next season so my guess is he will be there next season.
To hear Mahoney is gone from Brighton is shocking to say the least after two Grand final appearances and one Premiership. Would love to hear the speil on that one from the Brighton board!!!
Will definitely be interesting to see what players do leave if any, but those three mentioned on Schmidt, Baker and Rigney did come with Sam and do have a long history with him and i'm sure if Sam finds another job will do whatever he has to to take those guys with him and whoever else he can take from Brighton. But I reckon they are a tight group and majority will stay put.
The only time i've ever been wrong...was when I thought I was wrong!!!

Valleys also have Ben "Flash" Gordon (ex Lofty) joining their ranks in 2013. Valleys must have a large cheque book as Flash doesn't play for less than $700 a game plus a sign on. Have heard there is another ex Lofty player joining them too, no name yet. Are Valleys cashed up or getting themselves into financial trouble?

Talk is cheap, Brighton won't have a walk out, club way bigger than individuals. Time will tell.

Agreed, however I was told over the weekend it was 10-15 B graders not A graders, as you say time will tell.
