Just had a look at my Crystal Brook Cricket Club history book and the last season was 2000/2001 for the B's.

I thought Tim Wohling had the very last one of those history books.

I think if you asked current A grade cricketers. A majority of them would say 50 overs is way too long. No one wants to play on a Sunday. I have never understood why games don't start at 10am..since you can't double up these days.

If you want 2 play cricket, let people play as much as they want. kids should be looked after and encouraged 2 play longer form of the game. I dont like the bonus point. it stops teams from using juniors more. Chasing 1 point instead of giving a kid a bat or bowl only hurts are game.

Can you wear shorts in B grade cricket. I might bring them out of the mothballs and help the cats out. Might drop by crocs newsagency and see if there is any more news. Heard tiger boys were boasting down the central on the weekend. Saying things like "lawyered" and how they had beaten the system. My source is a very reliable source slugging sutcliffe, not like the sources the local cricket writer gets them from! LOL! I wont trust my other sauce who said, sed player got 15 games.

just put a few punts on at the sporties and blew the froth of a couple. Big talk was how good the sharks uniforms look. plus has anyone started the season as good as Carroll. Big hopes for the cats, in the A grade. good mixture of youth and experience. If we could get sedunary out he would be the icing on the cake. please take this as fun tiger boys but chesty gnome (what we have christened him here) would probably like 2 get a copy of his photo from recorder as by all reports the league has hired Agent Novitzky! The man responsible for bringing down Marion jones and lance Armstrong

Carroll has shorter odds for for the B grade medal than black caviar. If he plays most games he will cruise to 1000+ runs. Port geremien certainly look the part this year and some of their younger bowlers have improved outta sight but sadly their batting is still heavily reliant on Fluff and is probably the weakest in the comp

Just a question to where all the B grade umpires have gone??? Krackers gino and Johnsy havent done any so far this year and are desperately needed

Kracka's has had an op on his shoulder i'm told, out till new year. Johnsy is a shifty and Gino misses at times i think because he travels a bit and follows Adelaide United games.

Well that answers that. Apart from fuchs boys, who are some talents with the bat that spring 2 mind. IMHO L. Warwick would be up there. One of the cleanest hitters of the ball. Saw Travis Wilton play a glorious innings at the brook one day. Gus Gilmour was a special talent. Dav Pine was still scoring runs a couple of years back. Of course there are the legends in Barry Hutchinson, Ray Fisher and Flogga flower just 2 name a few.

Word is that Sollies might forfeit to Strykers tomorrow. Anyone heard if this may be the case?

Before last weekends game they were struggling to get a team, they ended up with 10 in the end. They had to make a few calls at 8:30 though.

They did say last weekend they only had 7 for this weekends game though. You would think they could let the opposing club know they were going to forfeit. Saves everyone getting out there for no reason.

edit Cheetah is a sollies man, we will have the right info.
