Teakle didn't apply. Very young family and very busy with work.
Talking to the new president on the weekend, they didn't get any applications so have readvertised.

Not a good start for the roo's... Have they signed any players yet?

Believe that Cotsaris and Bickmore are returning. At his stage no other signings but 3 or 4 players with good credentials have been spoken to and are very good possibilities. (But remember, it's still Ocotber) Might be looking at a playing coach. When I find out more I will let you know.

Correct re Wallaroo and Brighton. Green leaving Wallaroo. Believe they may be talking with a SANFL player through the week as well.

any ideas where Greeny is heading??

No haven't heard that part of it. Someone by the name of Gregory was also mentioned as leaving but doesn't ring too many bells with me. Apparently all other outside players from 2012 staying on.

Can't see Hales making the trip, still required at his RMFL club. Not sure on his link to the YP, but believe his father "Jim" the 1979 national iron man champion now resides on the YP.

Do you mean Jarrod Hales from Mannum Duke?

Yeah pretty sure he does

Ahk, Jarrod's fathers name is Mark and last I knew he didn't reside on the YP?

Mark Hales works for Flinders Ports so it would be a long trip to work from YP

Brighton have been one of the power houses of the SFL...very strong A and B grade sides who always play finals. Most of there B grade players would walk into alot of A grade sides elswhere easerly...

No players playing for Ardrossan from brighton...

Crabb brothers from Brighton .......

No mate Morphetville and only one crabb played...the other played 20min of footy in three games. But i helped get Morgan cleared from MV were his mate was coaching and wasnt keen on clearing him....Prior to that wouldnt know what club he played for. (his bro played up in the hills last couple of yrs) Not sure there from Brighton????

Heard from a mate who played at Eastern Park under "Dusty" Miller that Ardrossan have phoned Dusty and offered him their coaching job. Was told the job is his if he wants it....Must be pretty close to the mark as his already spoken to my source as a recruit and a couple of others from there...(talking about jumping out of the pan and into the fire). Coached EP b grade under Dusty and boy arnt they in for a shock!!!! very demanding coach and much like myself "calls a spade a spade"...Great bloke and wont suffer fools easerly so some might find the going tough for them once again.....

All the best if he does take it... As I said great bloke with plenty of passion for the game.

Morgan played juniors and B grade at Brighton, pretty sure he didnt play much if any A grade though.

Brother played at Mt Lofty for a few years, but both socialize and have lived in the Brighton area, thats where the rumor of them going back to Brighton came from. Tomato Tomateo...

Not sure they would return either way...From my expeience of playing and coaching in the SFL and knowledge of the boys its a bit like chalk and cheese or tomato and tomatoe.....Very "Yuppy" club and the boys have nothing "Yuppy" about them.....(good lads though)..

Did play there last yr but cougars let him go preseason this yr as they thought he wasnt committing as they wanted...Not sure he would return to the YP...Slight chance but more than likely Zac will play with his mates somewhere else.
