Round 7 Multi

Postby Dissident » Tue May 08, 2007 2:04 pm

Ok fellas, after last weeks win I thought I'd have another stab at a nice big multi. Obviously, chances are I won't win a second one of that size! But nothing ventured.... you know the drill.

I've had an early look at the odds on tabonline.com.au and have written down the following:

Brisbane Under 39.5
Geelong Under 39.5
Bullogs Under 39.5
Fremantle under 39.6
Port Over 15.5
Collingwood Under 39.5

I don't believe that Brisbane can score 6 1/2 goals more than Adelaide, although Brisbane should win. Geelong/WCE is a hard one BUT with the Cats scoring options I think they can win and the game will really push WCE. I do think Geelong will win but WCE being the class side they are, won't let it be a big margin.

Melbourne played well against Port and will bring that in to this match with the WB to only lose by a couple. WB travelling back from Perth means they might be a bit under.

The hawks are a bit of an unknown but really haven't travelled too well recently. Freo should bounce back from loss against Brisbane and test the Hawks Defence.

Port can't lose, and can't lose by less than three goals. Won't happen.

Collingwood/Carlton promises to be a spiteful game with the Blues bitter after letting the Saints run away. But the Pies should be the better side on this day.

Please remember this is EARLY. I will change it!
There's no bets for possessions, or goals.. and some other bets don't crop up until Friday.

The above bet would return about $465 for a $5 bet.

I've been doing some checking out of the margins.
In the first 6 rounds, 11 games were OVER 39.5 points.

Only 3 games in the first 3 rounds (from memory) were over this.

So less than 25% of games.

with that STAT in mind DISS, i think the centrebet option of boxed multi's and using the margin of under/over 39.5 pts would be very handy in this situation.

adds 10% to your multi...so if it is $10- without Port it will be $11- with Port...worth it, as long as they win!

HOME TEAM MANIA

Every now and then all the (named) home teams win. Could it be this week?
Quite possibly....

$10 on home teams WIN, $10 = $301
(Roos, Pies, Power, Lions, Saints, Cats, Dogs, Dockers)

Imagine if it was one of those REALLY rare rounds where the away teams all win....

$5 = $10846 .... ;)

The total game score came off.... easily over the points.

Scott Lucas came through with the goals - beating Grant.

BUT... Brent Stanton had 27 touches and Adam Simpson had 26 :(

Yeah I had Lucas for my MG and Stanton for my main MD, only got one out of 2 as Stanton got beaten by Watson and someone else.

Invested my winnings from the game on a North/Port/Eagles multi @ $3.30.
