Postby bayman » Thu May 10, 2007 12:29 pm

with a port player fronting the tribunal for 4 or 5 weeks in a row, i'm asking have they got discipline troubles ? or are the umpires over reacting ?
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Wore a black and white jumper - is that not the worst thing you can do in the SANFL?
A Bulldog in winter; a WTDCC Eagle and OICC Wolf in Summer!

I know what it's like. I started playing for Salisbury when I was 10 & the old man nearly made me sleep in the kennel!

My Dad almost did the same when we (Salisbury), wearing the old Central guernseys, played the Port special squad at Salisbury Oval in a trial game under lights mid-season.

Even then, the f***ers were bitching about alternative guernseys and the prison bars...

I reckon they were association guernseys MP - admittedly my memory is fading. I also recall Salisbury A grade wearing something that resembled a state guernsey in a night series grand final against Tanunda(?) about 20-25 years ago too.

It's funny though, as my old man played for Salisbury I thought nothing of pulling that guernsey on, even though I hated anything black and white in football (Port, Collingwood). Still love the Salisbury guernsey now, and still hate Port and Collingwood!

Yep, they were the association guernseys. Dogs were still in the white ones in those days.
