Donald Trump in Twitter meltdown over Barack Obama re-election

DONALD Trump went into a Twitter meltdown after US President Barack Obama's victory, blasting the election as a "disgusting sham".

Trump has since deleted some of the Twitter tirade he posted following Mr Obama's re-election and added new critiques of US TV network NBC's Brian Williams.

Trump started out in a philosophical mood as the tide turned against Republican candidate Mitt Romney, musing "Well, back to the drawing board."

But it appears it was all too much for the property tycoon as the reality of Mr Obama's clear win began to sink in.

"We can’t let this happen. We should march on Washington and stop this travesty. Our nation is totally divided!”, Trump fired off on Twitter.

The Apprentice star, who toyed with a Republican presidential run, became increasingly irate, even calling for Americans to reject Mr Obama’s resounding victory.

"Let’s fight like hell and stop this great and disgusting injustice! The world is laughing at us. This election is a total sham and a travesty. We are not a democracy."

Maybe Donald should start up a Convoy of Sore Losers like they did here.

Sadly mate, it's not GOLD, it's reality. Most Americans, in fact the vast majority are not as intelligent as the waste they excrete. ;)

Yeah you are pretty spot on. They are seriously ignorant of anything going on outside their own state/town or even block of condo's in the case of New Yorkers. They really are insular.

Mitt Romney cuts off campaign workers credit cards, leaves workers stranded

Mitt Romney showed the size of his largess when after losing the election he cut off funding to the credit cards for thousands of his staffers, leaving some stranded and without a revenue source.

Many campaign workers found themselves in restaurants, or cabs with an anxious vendor waiting to be paid and the staffer's credit cards declined. Mitt Romney left them holding the bag, and he was no longer willing to foot the bill. Some workers found themselves stranded in strange cities across the nation, hundreds or thousands of miles from home, without a penny in their pocket and no plan of action to take next.

This entire scenario is a window into the type of man Mitt Romney is at his core. When there is nothing to lose, and the cameras are not rolling, he is a ruthless individual.

Some member of the Romney staff took it in stride. MSNBC.com reported one staffer who, when asked about the credit cards being cut off, shrugged and said: "Fiscally conservative."

As is often the case, the perspective of the situation depends on how one looks at the situation.

And Romney's supposedly got a fortune of over $200 million too. Not that they would've been spending his money anyway.

What an arsehole.

I will be interested to see if Sean Hannity or Bill O'Reilly cover this? If it is true then I agree it is disgraceful.

If I was an ordinary worker in the US I would rather have Obama watching my back than Romney.

Meanwhile, Obama has won Florida.

Final count gives Florida to Obama

US president Barack Obama has won Florida's 29 electoral votes, further fattening his substantial margin of victory over Republican rival Mitt Romney in what had been predicted to be a close White House race.

The Sunshine State was the last to report its tally from the November 6 election, in which Mr Obama won a second term.

With Florida's electoral college votes now in the Democratic incumbent's column, the final total was 332 for Mr Obama, against 206 for Mr Romney.

Mr Obama earned 50 per cent of the vote to Mr Romney's 49.1 per cent, with about 74,000 more votes among more than eight million ballots cast, according to county tallies provided to the state before a noon Saturday (local time) deadline.

Republicans have control of both houses in Florida's state legislature and the governor's mansion, but a growing Hispanic and more liberal-leaning population are pushing the electorate toward Obama's Democrats.
