I'm sure the culture at Sydney will bring out the best in him.

Im starting to think the Crows were held to ransom by Tippet and his manager. If reports are correct he has said he will retire if picked up by someone else, what did he say to Crows for him to sign 3 years ago?
What if his management came to the Crows with the alledged deals and said agree to it or he is out of here right now(2009). The Crows can't go to the AFL as they would lose him, they can't say no as he would leave, so that leaves the option of agreeing to it.
If this how it played out i say give Tippet 3 years, his manager life and give the Crows a fine of whatever the 3rd party amount was, as well as losing Tippet for nothing seems about fair to me.
Tippet being from a basketball background could'nt give 2 hoots about the drafting policies of the AFL and integrity of the game. He will take this to court as he only sees where his next pay check is coming from

Don't think Tippett was holding a gun to Adelaide's head. Takes 2 to tango and all that crap.

Then the people who called the shots at that time for the Crows are idiots.

There's also the issue if the draft tampering hanging over him if he wants to play legal hard ball.

The draft is fundamental to their comp and the AFL will fight it for as long as it takes.

Tippett won't be suing the AFL for restraint of trade.

Gee some people have a real nasty vindictive streak. ;)

Expect an apology in about 5 years Kurt.

Being outside of Adelaide, there are a lot of people who hope Tippett ends up at GWS after the way he has handled this. Not just Adelaide fans having a sook that's for sure.

Yeah I would agree with that statement as well. I really dislike the crows. But I hope Tippett ends up at the GWS.

Tippett is over paid as a footballer and as an actor! Just saw the ads tonight and they are so bad no wonder he wanted out of Adelaide. If I was still in Adelaide those ads are enough to make me want to move states.

It's fun watching this peanut self implode...keep going mate, no club will touch you. And if you do get drafted, every crowd will boo you.

Yes I'm sure he is imploding. At least he has plenty of scratch to console himself.

The Adelaide clubs better start drafting from their home state as no young player from interstate will want to play for them after all this.

Oh please that statement is ridiculous. Did Carlton have any issues drafting kids? What's worse getting drafted to Adelaide or Melbourne that are in the AFL dark ages.

Maybe a name change is in order to the sleeping troll

More to do with the adelaide supporter mentality. The last thing port have too worry about is salary cap issues. ;-)

Fancy someone from West Coast commented, geez the very club that had its head up its ass when Cousins was runn'in a muck.

Nah, something that happened 6 years ago and is totally resolved is much more important than the biggest story in football all this year. West Coke are a disgrace for dealing with the problem and moving on.
