30Pts on sunday. It was very windy and with a sore back I seemed to introduce a hook into my irons. Hopefully it was just cause I was sore. Still scratched 5 holes so could have been a very handy score had I have played them holes out.

Are you playing tonight in the twilight heater?

Beat you by 1 last Sunday :) 3 scrub holes

No I'm not. Done for 2012 so a 3 week off season then back into it. Goal for next year is to break through the 19 handicapp barrier which I'm stuck on for the previous 12 months.

9.5 degree loft might bother you unless you are already a single figure handicapper and you are a young fit guy who can generate club head speeds over 110km/hr. but if you are not and it comes with a regular flex graphite shaft it would be an awesome club I'm sure

Stick with 8.5 then Dutchy. Take the other one and put it up on eBay unless you can specify your loft/shaft preferences the go with the new baby.

Just getting back into golf after too many injuries at footy
Makeshift set at the moment but slowly improving it as get to play more golf and get better

Driver-rip off taylormade burner 10 degree
Fairway-callaway razr x black 5 wood
Irons- Mizuno mp30 3-pw (2nd hand)
Wedge- CG16 56 degree
Putter-cheap Infiniti
Callaway stand bag
Shoes-adidas golflite 4

In the market for a new driver. Have had 2 fittings with Titleist 910d and callaway razr fit. Both beautiful and can be adjusted if my swing changes after a few lessons.
Just waiting for $$$
Love my 2nd hand irons. Good brand and already 1 inch longer.

Anyone get clothes from thegolfsociety.com.au ?? If so are they good to deal with

Good golfing

I havnt used the golf society link but regularly buy from Thr Golf Warehouse in Wichita and they good to deal with. Buy several items together and save a bomb in postage. Prices are regularly 50% cheaper than golf shops here.

I bought one of these 2 weeks ago, am really happy with it. I have the 10.5deg and in extra stiff shaft due to the speed i generate in my swing.
Things could change in another 4-5 weeks but at the moment Im loving it and would definately say get 1. Just need to decide on a loft and shaft that is right for you.

Nothing wrong with that style either, as sometimes it is good keeping low.

Never said I hit them straight MT, I hit the ball OK just cant get the radar right, hence why I like links, just end up on another fairway and no trees to hit over ont he way back to the green!

Thanks for the feedback IF, reckon Ill go with it, dunno if I can request loft and stiff shaft but will try.

You would hardly notice any difference in ball flight between an 8.5 and 9.5 or even 10.5 degree driver. The ball flight from a driver is much more to do with the type of shaft you have in it rather than the loft. Not stiff or regular but where the kick point is. ( high, mid, low).
The lower the loft on a driver, the less back spin you will get hence making it harder to control direction.
So my theory is, the higher the handicap then the higher loft you will want.
I'm number 1, so why try harder!!

ive read and heard the same thing sturtman about the higher your handicap the higher your loft.

but at the end of the day, its what you feel comfortable in using.

Dutchy - perhaps go down to a golf shop and have a hit with one and see how it feels in the hands etc, obviously you wont be able to get an idea if it improves your accuracy.
