Heard on the news tonight that Luke Jericho has been cleared from West Adelaide to Norwood immediately.

obviously to play up forward, now norwood may win more games as they'll get more goals

Must admit Ive only seen him play 1 decent game.
Westies might have been getting a bit heavy with reliance upon AFL listed players anyway which any club that wants to be succesful at the ultimate level shouldn't be, mind you there's a fair heap of them at the Legs now I think, they might as well as just be a reserves side for the Crows and Port the way they're going.

Good luck to the lad if it improves his game somehow as he's obviously got talent.
Im very suprised when players who come through a club's juniors leave their club for another when being on an AFL list, it does indicate to me he may have grown to big for his boots perhaps which is the impression I get from some West fans who had something to do with him.
Not as suprised when its blokes recruited from I/S.
How many who have come up through juniors have moved on when in on an AFL list?
Jericho and Clarke come to my mind, any others?

Rodan, Lower, Thomas, Minson, Cockshell, Campbell, Pfeiffer, Massie, Meesen and now Jericho. Fair few indeed.

He will end up playing more games for Norwood than the Crows...to be honest, there's a
few down at Westies that are not sorry he's gone.

he is criticised by the supporters of the original club

I think its different when its a player who has come through that club's juniors, this seems quite unique as even Matty Clarke spent a hell of a lot of time interstate and it is understandable that he came back to a different club where Jericho should/would have been around the place the whole time.

When Howard came to North I don't remember 1 bad word from West supporters only words of support to him.

Pesonally Ive only been bitter about one North player lining up for another club and that was because no other club in the state would play him after what he did.

No North supporters have a bad word to say about Hargs nore did they when Ebel went to Port. Noones said a bad word about Gum either.
Chad Davis on the other hand copped heaps.

Every case is different.

Haven't heard too many North fans criticise Hargarves mal. If anything more have criticised the decision to get rid of him.
