That Pepsi Next is disgusting. I thought it had more caffeine in it so I didn't expect such a drastic change in taste.

Weight tip

Eat slooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow
From the time we commence eating there is a 20 minute quarter that must be negotiated
At the 20 minute mark , b4 time on, the stomach will convey messages to the brain that it is fullish
So we must either eat for the 20 minute duration
or
If the meal is completed within 20 minutes fill in time, and IF your still peckish , abstain from re-eating

By eating too quickly theres the tendency to :
Swallow too much air , which apparently is not a good habit
Consume additional calories
Food is not adequately masticated which can lead to problems such as bloating

Eating the meal in 20 minutes is a rather onerous boring task if you are like me
So IF we say finish a meal at the 10 minute mark , I can recommend some suggestions
In that interim period of between 10 and 20 minutes its important to be happy and contended , being stressed out or unhappy is a no no

0-10 Eat
10-19 Foreplay
19-20 Sex, get dressed

This is a plan at the SANFL games next season
0-5 Eat Pie with Sauce
5-15 Line up at BBQ
15-20 Eat steak sandwich, and sausage with onion
It is imperative we eat the pie first, as the line ups for the BBQ are nearly always longer than the tuck shop queues , hence we wait in line and fill in time

0-10 Eat
10-20 Read entertaining happy threads on Safooty, like Best Jokes, 2012 Grand Final SANFL Premiership thread, Weight Loss + The Challenge , Late Mals

0-10 Eat
10-20 Do a low to moderate impact physical activity , walking, stretching , cleaning, gardening

This one for Overloaded
0-5 Eat Large Fries
5-15 Drive back through the drive in section and order a second time
15-20 Eat Hungry Jacks Burger

So whichever plan you use, the imperativeness of it all , is that 20 minute duration

This is what it equates to :
The 20 minute plan , if done properly , equates to approximately 150 calories less per meal
For 3 meals this means a potential 450 calorie differential daily
I send a message , this is a staggering INXS of 3000 calories per week
Gulp !

All this from eating slooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow

In the rush to get ready to head to my temporary job in WA, buying a rental property in SA, and setting up a new laptop I forgot to post for early November.

So, I'm now in Bunbury, 97.8 Kg, and doing this on my new i7 ASUS laptop via a plug in 4G modem...

DEC 112.4

December is a hard month to keep the weight off
My game plan is to lose it early in the month, to allow for any inevitabilities of mid to late December

Weight tip
Chia Seeds
These seeds are said to suppress appetites
Ive never tried them though

Chia seeds are great! They are very high in fibre and and have eight times more Omega 3 than salmon. I have some in my breakfast every morning and use them in plenty of other recipes.

I should have joined this challenge when it started but after being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in mid Sept I got the kick up the arse to do something about it.

August 2009 I gave up smoking, put on about 10kg's (137.5)

December 10/Janurary 11 I did a heap of renovating at home and dropped to 117 kg in 6 or 7 weeks
Mid Sept 2012 I was back up to 122.5 kg

Started watching food (mainly sugar, but careful with fat as well) and exercising, started walking, the a bit of bike rididng, now ride 10.5 km each way to work, often leave early and add another 5 to 10 km to the ride

The week before Xmas I was down to 114.7, then back up to 116.9 by New Years Day

New years day I started reno's on the back of the house, since New Years Day I have put in a minimum of 9 hours working (2 days) with the rest being 11, 11, 12, 13 1/2 and 15 1/2 hour days, except for last night (15 1/2 hr day) where I only did a 1/2 hour bike ride, I have still managed at least an hour after I stopped working

weighed in this morning, 112.7 kg, the lightest I've been since before my son was born 18 1/2 years ago :)

Also my sugar has been under control since the end of the 1st week, 1st tested 18, now every morning the fasting test is between 4,5 and 6.0, blood pressure is down, 1st time since I was a teenager my cholesterol is not high (I'm 48)

Could be scales I bought a brand new pair and it would give a different reading every time. Try checking it 4 times in a row and see what reading it gives you.

I haven't got a set of scales over here - my last figure was noted at home before I headed to the airport.
I can tell I've lost weight because I am hauling my belt in an extra notch know but figures will have to wait.
Swimming has helped now that I live 30 metres from the beach.

I've added extra holes to one of my belts, now it's 6 1/2 inches in from where it was

I'm on the weight loss wagon this year.

See how I go ... Been hammering it at the gym and eating really well.

Have not had a iced coffee since October 2012. Which is good as I was drinking one a day.

See how I go but going extremely hard at the gym and hope I see some results soon.

Bloody hard though !! Feel for all you guys and ladies but we can do it ;)
Is out of change.....thanks Cambridge Clarrie!!!

Do u find its a tad of a meal replacement, a guy at work swears by a feel good a day 250 cals and he reckons it cuts down the portion size of his lunch and doesn't snack between lunch and dinner
