Pretty sure he said we should be "aiming for Top 4", but don't let that deflect from Arsenal's barren run of trophy's ;)

Bradford win 3-1
Villa are a deadset rabble, their defending of set pieces was worse than a park club.
The away supporters let their feelings be known at the final whistle.
Second leg at Villa Park next week, cant see them overturning the deficit

Ouch. My Villa supportin work mate isn't here yet. But the first thing he'll do is walk past my door, shaking his head in resignation.

Couldn't agree more.
Well done City, hope they hold out in the 2nd leg.

Gotta say I love Bradford's strip, although it might have something to do with being a Motherwell fan.

As for Villa,a home loss to the Saints this week and I reckon Lambert will be gone.

What a superb result for Bradford, hopefully they can keep it up in the second leg. That 3rd goal could prove to be vital.

Villa are a rabble though, this was a great chance for them to make a Final and possibly win silverware and they collapsed.

The Jacks beat the Chavs 2-0 at the Bridge.
Normally rate Ivanovic but he had a shocker, gifted them both goals, lost possession for the the first and a howler of a back pass in injury time settled it.
The crowd booed Benitez for large portions of the game. He left Torres the dud on for most of the match and only subbed Ba in for the final 10 minutes. He also left Fat Frank on the bench until the 70th minute much to the crowds disgust

Ridiculous by Rafa to not bring Ba on until so late. His persistence with his golden son Torres will destroy Chelsea's season... hopefully.

I don't know if Rafa's displaying the same stubborness at Chelsea as he did at Liverpool, but in his final few years at Anfield his biggest weakness was that (despite declaring otherwise), he was clearly managing with Europe as his biggest priority, when he'd already scaled that mountain and the club was crying out for an EPL title.

I don't know whether we would have been good enough anyway, but with players like Reina, Arbeloa, Carragher (before he was too old), Mascherano, Alonso, Gerrard and Torres, most of whom were at their peak, we should have been good enough to give it a real shake (more than just the one season we finished a coupla points off).

So I've always felt Rafa was an OK manager in the Premiership, but his better value was in Europe .. For Chelsea though that wouldn't make much sense given the manager they turfed had just won them the Champs League.

Oops, off tangent .. Back to your original point, Rafa never treated Torres as the Golden Son at Liverpool .. In fact fans, players and media were constantly dumbfouned when he would sub Torres off with 20 minutes or more to play of an EPL match in the balance, usually because we had a match in Europe a few days later.
