Yep, one time glamour that would now struggle for a gig on Hanson Rd.

Sounds interesting, I better track it down .. Good to hear that there's no bias either, nothing worse than a "documentary" not being impartial.

Just got back from taking the Pseudomites to see Wreck-It Ralph.

Absolute brilliance. Superb homage to the old 20-cent arcade machines of the '80s. Small parts of the movie play like "spot the old 8-bit videogame characters".

Thoroughly recommended.

Now I have a strange urge to get out the DVDs of Tron and its sequel...

Tekken.

Surprisingly not bad.

Just waiting for the school holidays to finish for this one.

Mind you, every time I've seen an animated film, the kids in the audience have been pretty good.

Some of the parents, on the other hand, have behaved appallingly.

Talking during the movie, mobile phones going off, making an unholy racket as they munch, slurp and sip their way through the whole snack bar.

No cinema etiquette!

Savages...

Exactly, try to watch and enjoy a movie and all you hear is blah, blah, blah, if it's a funny bit, then laugh, if you want to talk through the movie then wait till it's on TV or dvd.

Win Win

Another Tom McCarthy gem.

Writer/director of The Station Agent and The Visitor...

The Ides of March

Entertaining enough.

But hard to believe that the Ryan Gosling character was so naieve...

I thought there was too much singing in The Sound of Music. And music. Not enough guns and shit.

Dead fall with Eric Bana !!

A thriller that follows two siblings who decide to fend for themselves in the wake of a botched casino heist, and their unlikely reunion during another family's Thanksgiving celebration.

Want to see this one .. Bana has received good reviews for his role, and then of course there is Olivia Wilde
