Whats happening down at the Dog Track?
Maybe the lid came off a little early, those guys down at the Exchange spouting off a few weeks ago how they would be undefeated premiers might have a bit of egg on their faces ATM.

Don't think we should be writing gawler centrals Off just yet... Even though they have only 6 cricketers in their team and 5 blokes making up the numbers those 6 cricketers are as good as you'll find in country cricket...

Freeling(1) vs Angaston(2)

With todays weather in mind is there a rain day set aside for the GF or are Freeling crowned the Kings in case of rain?
Looks to be a chance of rain next weekend

Going on last year's effort the association can just move the game anyway...I seem to remember an umpire deciding to move the one day semi final to Freeling last year despite the rule book not proving for this?

At a guess
McCafferty
Frackowski
Stock
King
Thomas
Serle
Wouldnt imagine its panic stations yet, would still think Centrals will be there when it counts

Seems most teams these days have 3-4 really good cricketers, then a couple of lesser talented guys then the rest make up the eleven. usually a number of cricketers who are good A2 cricketers but not really good A1 cricketers. King and Stock are top tier at centrals with maybe mcafferty and serle next tier. Centrals do have some older slower guys in that side too. Who doesnt though. Whats the go at sandy, they have quietly snuck into the top four and at the same time have a fair gap on the mob in 5th spot. They are another side that seem to carry a number of blokes but have quietly worked their way into the 4. Is it a sign of the comp not being as strong or is it a more even comp lately?

I don't think Frackowski would be in Scud's top 6, he would probably have Davis as his 6th i'd imagine

Davis might sneak into the top 12 on a good day...hits the ball in the air too much

Certain walk up starter, but believe he is unavailable. Likewise with Jimmy Vandeluer

I was pushing that we need a spin bowler ;)

I didn't think that he made himself available for the whole week, but you would know him better than me BIGBULL!!. He would have been more than good value, after the games I am talking :D

He is a great mate of mine and when he saw the team he was actually a bit pissed off/disappointed.. Then he saw it was being skippered by that burgess wanker and realised the team was made up of a lot of angaston crickets.. Surprised the skipper didn't push for Simon Koch to play.. Ex panther player and all

What's going on with gawler centrals. The wheels are falling off. Three losses on the trot, captain quits, in house fighting on who will be the next captain. Coach dropping easy catches in the slips. One token players in the zone side after written complaint.

Well. Is all this true?? Haha. If so maybe Extractor can help us out here. He was happy to take aim at me and one tree hill a couple of weeks ago.

Ok I'll bite...

I'll be pretty interested if you could point me to this post where I had a go at you norm? I don't reckon I've posted in the PDCA forum at all...

I hardly think the wheels are off at the Dog Track. We lost a couple 1-dayers after coming up against some pretty decent teams. Also we lost by about 10 runs on the weekend after James Vandy took 5 for not many. A pretty close match where a couple of umpiring calls or batsmen getting lucky nicks would have seen the result go the other way...

Is the 'token player' in the association squad the same bloke who is 5th on the association runs? Kingy and I think one or two others were not available when asked to play. That's the issue with having a tournament where blokes miss a week's work for no reimbursement...

Is it true that kingy stepped down as captain after a confrontation with medium pacer Willy serle. Caf has put in his CV for the captains spot

'Confrontation'? It was more like an 'animated discussion' from what I've heard...

Not sure about any changes to be honest. I'l leave that for the committee to worry about...
