Maybe they've switched to technology to record stats now, I don't know, but it certainly seems to be the easiest and most accurate way to record them.

I heard that North bought the same computer program that we have been using since 2003 for this season. Bandwaggoners.

Hey Ecky, what's the full list of stats that you guys count for Glenelg? Do you do it on computers or the old-fashioned way?

Kicks (effective/ineffective)
Handballs (effective/ineffective)
Marks (Contested/Uncontested, Inside 50/not Inside 50)
Handball Received
Inside 50s
Hitouts (divided into centre bounce, ball up and throw ins)
Clearances (CB, BU or TI)
Tackle
Shepherd
Spoil
Smother
Hard Ball Gets
Loose Ball Gets
Chase Downs
Free For
Free Against
50m Penalty For
50m Penalty Against
Turnover (Midfield or not)
Kick Ins
Goal (Set Shot/ On Run / Snap)
Behind (Set Shot / On Run / Snap)
Out on the full (when kicking for goal)
Rushed Behinds

This is all done on computer. (I'm often the one who keys it all in - around 1800 transactions a game!)

Well, it averages out to 50/50 for the League, May-Z does most of the Reserves. But if you look at the last 5 years in total, I would have done a lot more than you!
