Under 18 age requirements

Can anyone advise what the rule is in regards to turning 18 this year and still being eligible for under 18's?

im not 100 percent sure if they changed the rule but you can still have a few players age 19 play in under 18s

the rule was that someone 18 last year could still play as long as they were born after the season.
EG. someone that turn 18 in December could play 18s this year but they arent allowed to play seniors, if they play a game of seniors they can no longer play under 18's
Or something along those lines.

Has that allways been the the rule EM or has it just been changed, we where also told last year that a over age player could play u18's coudn't play seniors?

That is the rule in the the rules & regs for 2012 and as far as I know isn't changing for 2013

i coached 18's in 2010 and 2011 and that was definately a rule in 2011, believe that is when it first came in

I went back and read the rule and it does not mention it

So I would say that the 4 nominated players can play seniors and U/18's on the same weekend

it must of changed. When we last had an Under 18's team the 4 Under 19's players couldnt play senior football during the year. If they did, they werent allowed back into the Under 18's team.
