Don't know if there are enough ovals for juniors to play on Saturday mornings. Sunday morning were always a struggle though.

I think you will find PPCA might push B grade 2 sundays. That is what my sweet chilli sauce told me.

I hope they add a 20/20 round next year. Maybe lessen the double up rule. Fees will go up, thats given. I think there was talk of Clubs with just B grade teams paying more than 2 club teams. So this would affect strykers, bats, sharks and central hawks.

I'd rather play Sat but Sun wouldn't really bother me.

Back on to the juniors, I remember there being so many ovals to play on - Airdale, Pirie West, C1 and C2, Port Germein, Port. I think the 90's produced a lot of great cricketers but these days people under 17s have other things to do.

Does anyone know of the current state of the shark cage? I think there was talk about putting pitches at st. marks high or christian school. But i think all this was, was talk. I remeber playing grade cricket at Risdon high and ferme oval. Can anyone think of another ground 2 play on? So many jobs for kids 2 work at these days with all the fast food outlets. When KFC came here that was the biggest thing since finger buns!

There would be scores of 500 at Risdon school oval, the pitch would need replacing as well. So I think that oval can be crossed off the list.

St Marks school is an option, would have to convince the school a pitch is worth it considering they still play junior football there, I think.

I think Port Germein want to play games in Germein?

I think they fixed that oval, but I doubt the school would want cricket being played there with the prison like fence they have around it.

I am sure some world cup players attend church on Sunday mornings so this may result in later starts.
