Hope Solly makes himself available for every week from now on.

What's your obsession with Jordan Shepperd and reasons why he is or isnt playing? I would've thought it was none of your business, sounds like you're just trying to make a big thing out of something insignificant that frankly doesn't concern you.
daysofourlives wrote:2 chances of permission being given Jim. It would be hilarious though if either of the 1st day's play of the next 2 games is washed out or too hot making him ineligble for finals. The self destruction process of the club would be complete

Why so negative towards GC? You want to see a club like GC self-destruct? :? I was under the impression you were invovled with the association at an executive level previously, what kind of half wit then turns around and says something like that??
Maybe you're jealous of GC? or fearful of what they may become?

I'm sure you will be happy to know though, sweet FA chance of a wash out or too hot this week, with a beautiful 34 degree forecast with clear skies :D

The talk last night at training was Sandy to declare overnight, knock em over again for a similar total and be watching the races by about 4pm from the lofty heights of top position.

So how did that go? Not good enough to roll them again by the looks of it!

Would be wise to be careful what you say, although in a slump, they are still in the 4 and you are providing the perfect ammunition for them to fire up and would have Sandy in their sights as the team they would definately want to beat.

Looking at their scores, shows they are still very capable of hitting big scores..

Not sure what Days motives are. I know that last time he was at the Dogbox after a game, he enjoyed the hospitality & cheap bar prices immensely. Cant be that unless the cans were out of date??

I would think Days is just stirring the pot, dont know the Sandy guys well enough but id be very surprised if any side would get that far ahead of themselves.

Loxton just got a grant for $5000 to relay its turf strip of about 2.5 wickets. I'm not sure if that's a starting point for laying a turf pitch or a full cost.

Spent many an hour rolling that deck, probably more than I batted on it.

Yeah hitting big scores when there is nothing on the game.
If i was worried about them being a better team because of something i said on a forum i wouldnt say it. Pretty sure when Fracka is facing the 1st ball of the next game the forum is the furthest thing from his mind
If they need a forum to fire them up it would probably explain why they havnt won anything ever in the B&L.

I reckon Burden from Sandy would be the only batsmen that would have any chance to be worried about forums as he faces up ... mainly because he's the only batsmen I know that bats with a mobile phone in his pocket :)

If they need a forum to fire them up it would probably explain why they havnt won anything ever in the B&L.

Word of free advice - better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than open your mouth and remove all doubt!

1. There is always plenty on games - extra points, avoiding an apparent certain outright, confidence, good opportunity for time in the middle.
2. Fair sure their other recent big score came in their run chase, therefore the WIN would've been on the line.
3. Of course Fracka isn't going to be thinking of the forums 1st ball next game, stop trying to sensationalise things, it's not international cricket!
4. I'm sure they dont need a forum to fire them up, what i'm getting at is you are just added more motivation and incentive to perform! If you think that guys aren't going to read this forum and see your continuing rib jabbing of GC and it isn't going to incest some sort of reaction from them then you are dumber than i first gave you credit for.

As for GC not having won anything in B&L, some might argue that a retarded selfish exectutive decision at the 13th hour last season may have cost them a chance at winning the 1 day GF.

What the hell have you ever won anyway? A free braclet around your ankle? Riding on the coat tails of other teams having success

Am i supposed to be impressed? Being involved in those sides and even being the captain doesn't automatically make you a good cricketer nor does it give you the right to sit back in your chair and act like such a fair dinkum twat!

You still avoid the questions I ask which contain significance, instead dancing around and talking about the rubbish that you want.

You're an embarassment to your club and the BLCA, dont hear diddly squat out of you all season, then as soon as Sandy Creek go to the top you start rambling on post after post of pathetic snot taking cheap shots at Gawler Central. I don't recall GC being on here before christmas taking it up or hanging crap on the other sides.

Really?? Haha still going on about this. You'd be happy to win a flag without actually playing a game for one ... I guess looking at finals records I understand that but u were totally outplayed that day so get over it.
Don't go getting on your high horse with me I'm just saying it how it is I think most players would agree if there is a way to get a game played then do it , which happened on that day. If u a serious about not thinking a game should be played then insert your picture here...

I agree sometimes days gets a bit over the top, but knowing him its to get a rise out of someone and I guess he achieved that..
My words of advice to you Phantom , don't be comparing stats with days or try and say he wasnt good at cricket, I don't think u could find a bowler in the comp back in the day that would say they enjoyed bowling to the man.
And in more recent years have seen him make a batsmen or two look pretty stupid..

Had it been a minor round game i'm sure that no one would've minded so much, but the fact remains that BLCA is the only association that has ever transferred a turf game to hard wicket for a semi final just to get a game under way.

I'm in no way suggesting a game shouldn't be played where is the benefit to the side who finishes higher? Always been one of the perks of performing well enough to snag on of the top 2 spots that should the weather go sour, you're in prime position to progress.

Not only that, but it's more about how the change went about, an ad-hoc decision made at such short notice!

Also there is nothing to say GC would've won the GF, but the opportunity to contest was made increasingly difficult for them, and with days carrying on like such a pork chop and being in a position he was previously in, and the club he was affiliated with makes you wonder the motives behind the decision..
