We need a star striker. I get the sinking feeling that Mori will score a hat-trick.

Christ I was close as Mori did score 3 goals!!!! Wonder what odds I would have got on that?
Great to see an Adelaide City boy demolish the bad guys.

Adelaide United 2 G: Veart (13' pen), Rees (53')
Perth Glory 4 G: Mori (9', 30', 45'), Despotovski (39 pen')

Onya Mori and onya Glory! :D

Must admit Perth a much better side than us tonight, all 3 of Mori's goals were brilliant, the penalty from Despotovski on the other hand was just crap, Perth should have been down to 10 men by that point, and never should have got a free kick.
2nd half was better, apart from the rain, 90% of the attacking was done by Adelaide, including 5 corners in a row.

That's scary.

Did you think he would have it done by half time.

Personally I thought he'd do it inside the first 10 seconds after witnessing "that" goal a few years back.
I should have taken into account he doesn't even train with Perth though.
Not a bad effort though.
If Adelaide United were serious about winning a premiership they'd sack whatever and whoever it takes to be able to get Mori when his current contract with Perth runs out.

Actually my last comment should count for Perth too, they should exten the contract for the rest of the year if they're smart.
What a player, I still remember vividly when he scored the goal for Adelaide City in the GF in Melbourne, got the ball about the half way line and weaved some magic to score the winner.
Ahh, they were the days when soccer in this country meant something.
