Well on the basis of last night, Stephen Smith will be gone (Perth - Ric Charlesworth's old seat IIRC a seat Labor has held since 1983) that will put the coaclition on 75 seats only needing to win one other seat nationally to form government. Brand will be in danger of falling too - Beazleys old seat.
So there are some implications federally.
Face it the only real interest in September now is will the Coalition win control of the Senate too, as the lower house is a fore-gone conclusion.
