Lets put it this way, Taylor walker starts having a few shockers gets dropped and Norwood plays him at full back? How many crows would be kicking up a fuss about that.

Not the first Power player to not be good enough to get a game of A grade SANFL, and won't be the last. Apparently, you have to play them anyway. Do you remember Luke Peel?

The only one I know of is if a player comes back from an AFL game, then he has to play 2 SANFL league games.

Newton will do fine at SANFL level. Hes good enough for SANFL football. Not sure about AFL level though.

Luke Peel is a bit different. North wanted to play him in the Under 19s in Round 1 of his 2nd year. Bit ridiculous.

The SANFL has to agree to these moves. Its not like Port can just move players willy nilly. It has to be confirmed by the SANFL.

Argumentive as always, perhaps you should read the thread from the start.

Port wanted West to guarantee him a game all year and a midfield role. No player gets a guarenteed game all year at any club. Collins said no, they took him to the Magpies. Remember he is yet to play a league game yet mainly due to constant injuries

Haha open your eyes and have a look at your supporters. Every club has feral supporters always will have them. But centrals by far have the most. I still remember back in the 90's a central cheer squad member hitting a north supporter on the head because he was cheering because north had won. Serious question does the central cheer squad still have the police watch them closely?

So one team is playing to win and the other is playing so that another team in another competition has a greater chance of winning.
I know where my sympathies lie.
Power shouldn't be allowed to piss around with the integrity of this competition.

Is this the same competition that told port to keep there sanfl side apron entering the afl? And it's not just the power the crows also give orders to sanfl clubs. The thing people forget is the sanfl is the crows and powers reserves league. If the sanfl isn't happy with then why don't they just let the power and crows have a reserve side.

No one is saying they (Power / Crows) can't have reserves sides just not in our League comp? Have you been alseep for the past 2 years?

Surely it is up to the AFL Clubs to arrange thier Reserves side themselves? The only reason they are deferring from doing it is that they don't really care about the local clubs, they are just interested in what is best for their clubs whereas the SANFL Clubs are trying to maintain some control and integrity over a comp that historically had it's hand forced when the PAFC did the dirty and tried to do it's own deal to get into the AFL way back in 1990. And for info if you are going to quote "historical" facts then get them right - the 9 clubs at the time wanted Port out of the SANFL, it was the then Commission that over ruled the clubs and decreed that Port keep a Magpies team in the SANFL comp. That decision caused a re-write of the League rules / constitution which gave the clubs back power in certain circumstances and not just leave all major decisions with the Commission and rightly so.

It's worth pointing out here that some Port supporters think that '80% of all PAFC revenue goes to the SANFL'.

:D

and perms not mullets!

Either prove me wrong by posting your figure then. But no, you and UK fan just want sit on the sideline and throw rocks because that's so much easier. Perhaps you think that no revenue goes back to the SANFL and that Port and the Crows keep it all.

And the only Mullet I'm familiar with is the one sported by Taylor Walker, which ironically has been photoshopped out of the latest Foxtel Billboards at Bus shelters.
