Howdy all

Kym and I have been writing the Sportsbeat Previews this year..

Its pretty bloody hard as we have DIvs 1-7...we need to highlight Div 1 game by game but apart from that every div has the same right to coverage...they all pay the same

We accept criticsm where it is due but I guess what 'grinds our gears' are people who whinge that their clubs aren't being covered

But its your job you cry...yes but ultimately the flow of information has to come from the clubs....

Instead of saying we won't support it next year email us stuff at mailto:grassroots31@yahoo.com.au..players names, match reports etc and we will use it

Ultimately you guys can get your clubs money's worth, the same applies to the TV show

Must point out that while it sounds like we are spitting blood negative feedback has been minor..

Help us cover you...two ordinary blokes...60 + clubs....5 hours on a sunday..you do the Maths

I say to the writers- ease up on the cliches, and references to afl/sanfl players. and please stop giving a nickname to every player in the SAAFL e.g. Fred "the axe" Bloggs or John "Enforcer" Smith. Was funny the first time. But apart from that you guys are doing a great job.

I guess the balance between AFL/SANFL is an interesting one

An outsider to the amateur league finds that interesting but its at the expence of somebody else....

I guess just like the team they are playing for

Nah love your work, its only a positive thing when guys have the enthusiasm and passion for the league.

Just a suggestion.
when it comes to finals time why not do a brief blurb on all grades, not just down to div 7? I'm sure the forum would be more than happy to contribute.

Good on you guys for putting in the time to do it. Could use more info on better players rather than just the made up middle name, but hey, it ain't bad.
