If you have a blood test, do they make you come in to discuss the results even if its all good?

Can only be bad news I have one every 6 months the receptionist says all OK when good, or come in and have a chat to the Doc when it is bad.

It depends a bit on the practice - a small practice with little computerisation and no fulltime Nurse on staff may leave it to the doctor.
If fully computerised, the doctors can review result on the download, and mark the results "Receptionist can advise" or "Nurse can advise" or "Doctor to advise", depending on what follow up or advice is needed. It may be as simple as something popped up that needs a follow up test to see if the same result comes back.
Sometimes lab results slightly outside the range come back as normal on re-test a week or so later.

Good call to change from Spermy ... makes sense now.

It can go one of two ways.

Either everything will be fine and you'll just feel like someone has kicked you in the nuts for a short time and your balls with turn blue ... you'll be able to do most things and should be OK for the footy as long as you don't hit the piss (granted, maybe too big an ask for you).
Mine ( a long time a go now) went fine and much to the annoyance of my missus, I was back in action* within two days.

Or ... it will be nasty. The kick in the nuts will last for days, your balls will turn blue but hurt like hell, you'll get an infection, and you won't be able to walk straight for a week or 2.

I should be able to tell which one it is when I see you tomorrow night.
