Round 3 South Vs West @ Hickinbotham (Friday Night 12/4)

Post by Brodlach »

South Adelaide after a disappointing loss to Glenelg in round 1 at home come up against West Adelaide who have been quite impressive in their two wins against Central and the Eagles. Panther Park doesn't hold too many fears for the Bloods as they have played well there in recent years and South's form at home has been quite ordinary the past couple of seasons.

I would imagine that Dom Cassisi will be an out for the Bloods, he will be needed for the Power in The Showdown.

Off the top of my head I think West have won something like 13 of the past 15 encounters against South

Westies by plenty, South would have more chance if it was played at Richmond

South need to find a way of scoring against the Bloods. By my maths we've averaged just 55 ppg over the last 9 defeats. Pitiful.

Saw most of the Bloods game on the TV and they were very impressive. Some genuine pace through the mid-field and an even spread up forward.

If the bloods play like they did on Saturday South will be in trouble. That was one of the best displays of football I have seen in a long time.

The premise of your question is that there was a time when things were good at Noarlunga

Interested how Travis goes. I reckon he's got what it takes to carve the SANFL up.

Bugger, oh well...

Mason Shaw lining up in the twos I see ;)

Hopefully tonight has more to offer the spectator than the usual South v West snorefest of the past 4 or 5 years.
