Christies look like they will continue to improve, Crate is doing a great job there. I expected Shoes to win but the margin was a shock & the Roos continue their rise with a win over the Emu's. High scoring affair @ Shark Park does anyone know how many points Aldinga fielded on Saturday, it looks like they had a truck-load of imports?

Yep, Towns result was very interesting and I don't think anyone picked that. For mine Porties were brilliant last year, so either they had an off day, or Edwardstown's players have had a remarkable off season. Townies do have a tendency to put numbers behind the ball and some teams find this difficult to play against, but given they nearly clocked 100 points, they must have done a lot of running forward or changed up their gameplan significantly. Sounds more like the latter.

I guess we'll know more in the coming weeks, but hats off to them for getting their season off to a great start.

Cheers. I was just wondering how a lad who played every game in his age group in season 2012 including finals and was in best players a number of times is given permission to play down an age group in season 2013. Surely the sfl must have some criteria or is it club reccomendation? Great to see a number of young guys make snr a grade debut on weekend. Congrats to Adam ravenscroft and jake lane at cove big futures ahead

Usually the last weekend in April. Probably depends on how many teams are nominated too

Aldinga did not win a game last year so how do you figure that out Pet? I would say no doubt Hackham have improved again though.

Most people at the games said Hackham have improved, lots of young runners, also they kicked 9 goals straight before their first point. Aldinga had plenty of scoring shots. Finished the last quarter with 17 so hopefully they pull up this week.

Our points could be an issue, we had 3 underage players last week to help keep under. Our B grade got the win with plenty of young locals in the team which is good to see.

Reynella only win by 10 goals over Marion??? They lost to the Flies last year by 7 goals at Marion, with all the blokes returning and being played at Reynella, I would suggest a 20 goal hiding!
Agree with the rest except Flaggies should beat Christies just and being the first game back at the Valley I reckon they might push that margin out a bit further.
