You and I both know, when you're hot, you're hot.

Might head over to the Balaklava races today and try and keep the streak going.

A few I'm mulling over:

Fremantle v Essendon
Drug thing aside, the Dons match up well on Freo, also had a light three weeks with a break before Melbourne. Jobe playing well again. Can't decide. Leaving out. If I had to pick, Freo to clear the 15-point line looks tempting.

North Melbourne v Sydney
Sydney has just been doing enough, NM competitive. Don't know Sydney's record at Blunny, $1.70 head to head looks tempting but not tempting enough. Leaving out

West Coast v Melbourne
11-goal line versus the Demons looks inviting. Two guns in for the Eagles. - 64.5 @ $2.10 is value

Carlton v Geelong
Carlton to get within their 12.5-point line on Geelong. Got an eerie feeling about this one.

St Kilda v GWS

Surely the Saints will clear the 34-point line.

Richmond v Western Bulldogs
The Bullies have been pretty plucky this season, Richmond getting the job done. The Tigers look far better on paper. Beat the Bullies soundly last start, better team this year. Line looks about right. Leaving out. Had to pick, Tigers to clear the 27-point line @ $1.92

Gold Coast v Brisbane
I like the Suns, taking the line of 17-points @ $1.92

Collingwood v Hawthorn
Like the Hawks to win. Good record v the Pies and Schoenmakers has improved to go with Cloke @ $1.62.

Showdown
Leaving out

North Melbourne v Sydney
Sydney has just been doing enough, NM competitive. Don't know Sydney's record at Blunny, $1.70 head to head looks tempting but not tempting enough. Leaving out. Sydney are a good team. Missed out on an easy $1.70 there.

West Coast v Melbourne
11-goal line versus the Demons looks inviting. Two guns in for the Eagles. - 64.5 @ $2.10 is value. Easy money

Carlton v Geelong
Carlton to get within their 12.5-point line on Geelong. Got an eerie feeling about this one. Eerie was right. Ended up taking the Cats line of -16.5 at $2.10 and didn't it cost me? ****

St Kilda v GWS

Surely the Saints will clear the 34-point line. Easy money

Geelong missing the line by a half a point robbed me of a 50/1 multi. Very disappointing. Stayed out of the games I was worried about. Did the study. A close miss.

No outright bets.
I would have laid off on Sunday had the Geelong result been right and the Tigers line got up.
30/1 going into the Hawks game would have been a good situation to be in.
Ah well, plenty more rounds to have another crack.

Sydney v Geelong: Both similar in statistics and line-up. Can't pick between them. Swans at home for my tips but I'm taking both for first leg of my multi.

Hawthorn v Fremantle: Fremantle with no Pav, Hawks red-hot. They'll win and should do it by some margin. I've taken the 15.5 point margin for safety @ $1.40

Richmond v Collingwood: The Pies were pumped last week and I feel like I'm really underrating Richmond but I can't help but think Dane Swan will tear this one apart. Collingwood -15.5 @ $2.85

St Kilda v Essendon: The Dons are red-hot and the Saints aren't. It's probably the first week Essendon hasn't had the heat on them but their form is good. Took the H2H odds of $1.52

Gold Coast v Port: The team Port bring in to face the Coasters is better than the one that played the Crows. They should win. Took the -12.5 line @ $1.90

West Coast v Carlton: Carlton have won 2 from the past 4 v WC at Patersons but I can't see them winning this week. WC H2H @ $1.40

Melbourne v GWS: The Demons are bad but are they worse than a developing GWS? The Giants have a better tackle and contested possession count. Staying out. Forced pick: Melb -15.5 @ $2

Adelaide v Western Bulldogs: The Bullies have won two of the past 3 at AAMI and the Crows down on confidence. Leaving this out but $6.25 isn't bad odds for the Dogs. In their past 5 contests, Scott Thompson has had the most possessions four times. Maybe some reasonable $ around for that with Boyd back.

North Melbourne v Brisbane: Can't see the Roos dropping this one and I reckon the -15.5 line is value @ $1.65

BET: $10 on Sydney, Port -12.5, Hawks -15.5, Collingwood -15.5, Essendon, West Coast, North -15.5 @ $37

BET: $10 Geelong, Port -12.5, Hawks -15.5, Collingwood -15.5, Essendon, West Coast, North -15.5 @ $53.70
