Motorways through the metro area, instead of stop starting in "main roads".
Does not have a "north adelaide society" running the city. Things get done here, and major projects are not in crippling debt before things get of the ground, like adelaide. Wow, a ten story building, thhats a major achievement for adelaide.....
Roads through the city are accessable for EVERYONE, unlike north adelaide where trademen cars are banned from certain streets, in north adelaide.
Attitude in Brisbane of, if you dont like it, then piss off. Unlike adelaide, where meeting for five years just before things get off the ground, need to have a major meeting, just to pitch a tent.
Actually has a River that runs through the city that doesnt smell like a toliet. Remind me when people will start "swimming in the river torrens", as this was announced years ago that people will be able to do it.
No stupid ideas of a One Way freeway, ......LOL

Adelaide is a great city if you take the time to see that instead of everything negative. We have beautiful beaches close to the city, great wine regions to the north and south. Then you can go to Hahndorf in the hills or take a walk from Waterfall Gully to Mt Lofty and get some fresh air. Have lunch on the Parade, Unley Road or in North Adelaide. The Central Market has a great vibe and I am only scratching the surface.

Our festivals are some of the best in the world, the Clipsal is an outstanding event whether you love car racing or not. Then there's Womadelaide, the cricket at Adelaide Oval.... I'm sure I could go on.

And our weather is great for 8 months of the year.

Unfortunately all that would be lost on you because you seem to be someone that will look for all the negative things. It is not Adelaide or South Australia that is the problem it's your attitude. It's a shame that there are plenty of other people that share it though.

We are not Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane and we should be happy about that. They have their own beauty. Why do we always have to compare? What is wrong with being different? I have recently had 2 people over from QLD that absolutely loved Adelaide and can't believe the negative perception of it.

i could bring up plenty of points on "having lunch in paddington in brisbane" (along the lines of your response to lucnh at norwood, or unley). I could bring up points on - Going to the gold coast or sunshine coast for a trip like your "going to handorf for a trip". ALL CITIES HAVE THESE.....
