Question: Guard Dog?

Anything!

Would be wary of a bullmastive C_P. A little girl recently in the UK was savaged and killed by a mastive, which was a family pet. Seems to unpredictacble, and too big for the owner to stop it killing the little lass.

Hahahahahaha! You left out the fact dalmations are all retarded! Ours is a wonderfully natured dog but Guard Dog? Nup. Intelligent? Nup. I have yet to see one with an attention span long enough to be scary to anything - even the neighbourhood cats hang out up the back of our yard.

Damnations the ADD dog! They are a very active and interested dog, in fact VERY everything. I had one that was very easy going when we were home, but a very effective guard when we were out and he was "on duty' - so the neighbours reported.

A team of Dallies won the TransCanada sled race one year too - back in the mid to late 1970s I think.

But they were trying to do something completely different no doubt - an accidental victory!

This is the best alternative - scares most away immediately.
You can also get immitation CCTV cameras at Dick Smith and Tandy - insert a battery and you get a red light flashing away. The cameras are the housings used for the real thing, they just dont have the componetry inside them. About $30 each, screw them to the wall up high and point them where they need to point.
