If any club official is saying such things at a game, they should be the ones asked to leave their position in the club.

The rumour is either crap, or the official is a disgrace to 'their' club

2nd string or is it 7th string coming from the div 7 saafl.. You seem to know something the rest of us don't. If you have it show it or are you just stirring the pot??. Where was this so called conversation? .

My source overheard it under the verandah. Seems the club been going backwards since the historic agm last year.

I call BS. I agree Vics. Second string Pm who and when this was said and we can talk. If not you'll be considered nothing but a troll.

Called in to Noarlunga to watch $hoes v parks on my way home from work..GREAT game of footy....Shoes looked to be a lot harder round the footy and spread and run hard..Murphy was Quality for parks.good from stoppage clearences..how man points do they have?
coma v cranston epic duel..Did notice parks b grade get flogged ..if A grade gets injuries reckon they might be in some trouble..$hoes and parks definite top 4 sides..Two divs ....YES PLEASE....
Last thing parks definitely have a few sluts who DONT win Hard footy might see them come undone come finals (ruwoldtx2,longman barrie for such a tall guy should take more marks inside 50..Shoes defence was pretty good..

What is going on down at Marion this Year? Last year they looked they were starting to improve but from the scores this year they have definetely taken a step back.
Could they go through the year without a win?

Good to see Aldinga get a win early in the year. Give the boys down there some confidence.

Good on them. Sadly that confidence will only last one week after they meet Morphie Parks this weekend.

After only four rounds I believe that the good and the bad are becoming clearer! My tip for ladder predictions at end of minor round .

Valleys...............even better
Noarlunga............. Improved ten percent
Morphie parks............better again but no depth
Reynella..............have hot some real talent back
Edwardstown.................big surprise playing well
Morphett vale............... Hard to beat but not enough talls
Hallet cove...............same as last year
Port noarlunga............lost a few players will improve
Christies............crate done great job just missing finals
Brighton............tough draw will cost em
Flagstaff hill...............have lost plenty and no talls
Lonsdale..............usuall position recent years
hackham............. Club improving
Aldinga..............better but so are clubs around them though
Marion.............pretty ordinary year ahead !!

What's other peoples thoughts and ladders?

Having seen Valleys up close on Thursday, cannot see anyone realistically challenging them other than Noarlunga and MVP.
Their only real weakness seems to be in ruck, but they simply adjust their midfield and work to the opposition rucks. That said, the two guys who rucked on Thursday were still very competitive, just not at Cranston's level. I believe they still have some depth coming through given their B Grade performances.

Bombers to finish above Christies and porties,
thoughts are your ladder is around the mark, Brighton won't be down for long & valley will win it over shoes. MVP will probably bank out. bottom clubs to improve overall.

probably a bit harsh considering they are an excellent all round side. figure a couple injuries and they won't be able to match it with a top 4 side. I think they need to keep their side fit to have a red hot go at a flag. would personally love to see them in a GF. Shouldn't take anything away from them, they are in with a shot. you would expect them to improve as the season continues. have not had a look at their draw.

So if Blackwood join the SFL nxt yr and Div one consists of 10 teams , Brighton will go Div 2 if your predictions are right , think somone mightve just cracked a can of worms , interesting times ahead

That would of course only be the case if Div 1 was based on one year's performances.
From what I hear, the chances of two divs is still almost nil and the only proposal being entertained is the North/South divisions. Someone else may be able to enlighten us, but I don't believe the Future Directions Committee has even met this year?
