While I was in Melbourne I'd rather gotten over the issue of Port being granted the second licence instead of another composite team being offered, which I would have joined.
So on my return, I was actually considering it as the Crows only had a waiting list to offer.

Then all that "one club" stuff emerged yet again and I pulled back.
I suspect the "Port can do no wrong and if you think they can piss off!" philosophy is precisely why you can't get memberships, and need baling out.

please tell me how we can't memberships? where not doing too bad having roughly 7,000 less members then a 8 club team

Can someone please translate into English?
Is that you, Dog_ger?

This is EXACTLY why our schools need more funding!

On the Monday he told our "officials" he wouldn't seek Young's move based on what North had told Port then 2 hours later the transfer paperwork was faxed to Prospect and Rhode not contactable! I understand that Francou and Hinkley had a "discussion" about the whole saga after the request came through and whilst Hinkley was in agreeance with Francou he refused to change the decision because those types of matters are left to Rhode to decide so I am told. You would think the Senior Coach would ultimaltely hold the power (pardon the pun) re players and development?

Good comeback Potsie!

wasn't suppose to be a comeback, it's actually funny this still upsets you. if North had done the correct thing in the first place he would still be at north. So if your going to be upset with anyone be upset with your club.

What's the correct thing kickinit!

I would think the correct thing is for them to pick their best 21 to beat the side they are up against.

North won the game by 41 points so I would have thought that is doing the right thing.

Anyway given the Newton scenario, whose to say Port wouldn't have come up with another reason to move Young. On current form I wouldn't say it has done Newton and Young much good.

It was poorly handled but I do think that North have moved on.

Oh yes another idiot trying to defend the undefendable. I am not upset, to be honest I find it laughable how arrogant and selfish the PAFC are in handling the whole "player" issues re the SANFL.

Please feel free to enlighten the rest of us as to your take on the Newton transfer and the reasons that were given to "justify" the move yet 4 weeks after he is moved he is back playing Reserves? Which part of "double standards" and arrogance don't you understand?

It's pretty well come down to that, while it'd pain me that McIntyre, Jaensch, Martin, Wingard, Monfries, Hombsh etc wont be given the chance to play for Sturt again it's better than having them play against Sturt in the SANFL for points.
I call bullshit on that!!!

the sooner they p*** off completely out of the SANFL, the better for all concerned.
Its a pity that all the money handed out to them did not have a payback condition.
